I’ve now visited Tocca Ferro twice, and both experiences have been ruined by unexpected parking expenses, poor communication, and management’s complete unwillingness to address the issue. On our first visit, we parked at the nearby Garden mall and received no validation. Staff told us to use valet instead. On our second visit tonight, we followed that advice and used the valet for a one-hour dinner - only to be charged $35 for parking. Here’s the real problem: When we raised this issue with staff, no one took any action to resolve it or even acknowledge the lack of disclosure. The restaurant’s OpenTable listing and website provide zero information about parking costs or validation policies. A $35 parking charge for a one-hour dinner significantly impacts the overall cost and should absolutely be disclosed upfront. This isn’t just poor service - it’s a failure of transparency that feels intentional. As a local resident, I’m warning others: do not patronize this restaurant or the JW Marriott. There are too many excellent dining options in our area where you’re treated with honesty and respect. Until they update their listings with accurate parking information and train staff to actually help guests rather than dismiss concerns, this establishment doesn’t deserve your...
Read moreWe met some friends here a little over a week ago. Our friends picked the spot, and I have to admit I wasn't super excited about trying this restaurant just because there aren't a ton of reviews and it's pricey. However, I have not been able to stop thinking about the gnocchi since eating it. It was the best gnocchi I've ever had by a long shot. I didn't realize I loved gnocchi until I had the ricotta gnocchi carbonara. My understanding is it's made with ricotta instead of potatoes which would explain why I'm obsessed with it. It was so fluffy and had some cheese in the center and was beyond perfect.
We also had the pepperoni, burrata, hot honey pizza and it was fantastic.
Service was fantastic.
My only con is that parking is valet only. We spent $15-$20 to park for the evening if I remember correctly. Next time we'll park somewhere free and walk.
This is definitely a special occasion spot, but we...
Read moreFood was not good for the price you pay. It is definitely a lot more expensive than estimated in google map. Price range is more like $30-$60 per entrée for dinner. We ordered the Margherita pizza, arancini and the lemon ricotta ravioli. The food did not taste very good. Waiter was nice but the hostess was not paying attention. First thing I was asked was my last name and I informed her that I am not a guest in that hotel. She replied “ok, what’s your last name?”. I responded with my last name and then she asked “what is your room number?”. She was definitely not listening to what I was telling her. Very...
