Me and my 8 Yr old went for dinner bc that’s where he loves to go. He ate his food and luckily didn’t need silverware to eat the burger and fries he wanted . I was indecisive so I ordered later than my son. They brought out the wrong thing as I knew they would bc the waiters aren’t writing anything down nor is their mind focused on executing tables CORRECTLY so of course the food was messed up. They are all over the place which explains why we got the service we did. The restaurant was chaotic which is very understandable due to it being a Saturday evening with a lot of weekend customers. BUT The waiters (not just mine) were giving out bad food and service left and right. No courtesy. No empathy. If the food was bad or lacking something you just had to wait and I mean basically until they got back to you. The restaurant was busy but tables were still open and it wasn’t slammed packed nor was anybody waiting to be seated . if you’re going to serve people be mindful of peoples time and boundaries. Being unprofessional, sitting down with customers bc their “feet hurt”, getting phone numbers from customers, sitting food down at the wrong table, etc. I ordered bourbon chicken and mac and cheese. They brought out the chicken and potatoes instead. They had no silverware to give to customers to eat with (someone brought me two forks in a napkin) but was continuously bringing out food for people to I guess just look at because you can’t eat with your hands so of course after several minutes customers food started to get cold. when I asked for the order to be fixed I waited so long I had already finished the chicken . I did not touch the potatoes nor did I eat that flavorless and awful representation of Mac and cheese I received . My waiter didn’t even fill our glasses nor did she even try to correct or apologize for what was CLEARLY wrong . She seen I didn’t eat anything but the piece of chicken on my plate and I still paid for everything even tipped her bc I know they still have to make a living. I know if I asked for anything else the experience would’ve been worse but this experience was indeed an awful one . Even if it is just Applebees . It was TERRIBLE and I hope in the future you...
Read moreBeen here a few times in the hopes that service would be better but unfortunately it’s gotten worse. First time we came, we got our meals 10 minutes before we got silverware to eat it with, and barely ever saw our waitstaff. This time, we were seated directly next to a family with screaming kids who would run around the restaurant and hide from their parents—the restaurant was nearly empty. I sympathized with our waitress only because she said it was her second day and obviously this place isn’t run well at all—she probably didn’t receive adequate training, there’s no organization or efficiency and no one seems to know where people are needed or what their job actually is. There were two waitresses who never left each others side but one would just stand there while the other did nothing. The host was nodding off every few minutes at the podium whenever he wasn’t coloring in the table chart with a marker and wiping it off repeatedly, and sometimes snail-pace bussed tables. The phone rang over and over and no one answered. Our waitress told me she would get me my iced tea once the bar made it (it’s just an iced tea, non-alcoholic) and I waited almost an hour for it, looking at the bar where no one was there. My partner got his soda refilled twice in that span. At several points there were no staff visible on the floor or at the bar, but they would stand by the kitchen doing nothing. At some points staff from the kitchen would silently hand customers food and leave, leaving them bewildered and confused. My partners food was fine, but my pasta was so over cooked it was mushy and inedible. When we got the bill, we were handed ours but also another tables bill that wasn’t ours and had already been paid out. All the tables around me were waiting for a long time like we were, and were also disappointed. Everything was so poorly run that I ended up laughing because I felt like we were being pranked, or that Gordon Ramsay was going to come out and and say they were filming an episode of Hell’s Kitchen. Keep in mind that this entire time, there were very little customers—not even half of the total tables were seated. I don’t know how this place...
Read moreHonestly, hands down one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. For starters it took nearly 5 minutes for anyone to greet us at the front. I’m assuming a manager finally took our name. However, with a line of customers waiting out the door, she couldn’t be bothered to address those waiting and put folks on the wait list. I made a comment to my mother in law that it felt very disorganized in the restaurant. Open tables everywhere, what appeared to be a full staff, yet half of the staff was just meandering around. It was just strange. After I made the comment to my mother in law about disorganization my mother in law made a comment about what I said to my father in law and apparently the assumed manager overheard her and shot her a nasty comment back. I worked in the food service industry for MANY years and would have never addressed a customer the way she addressed my mother in law. When we were finally seated, our waitress was fine, somewhat attentive, but 1) we couldn’t hear a word that came out of her mouth because she was mumbling so low, 2) Im almost positive she never actually introduced herself, and 3) she needed some coffee or something because she acted like she could care less about actually being there. Once we got our order in it took every bit of an hour to come to our table. Thankfully the food was hot. I won’t say good, but hot. That was about the only saving grace of this meal. We didn’t make a stink about our dissatisfaction during our meal, but several other tables around us were clearly complaining about various things happening in the restaurant, and the same assumed manager was very loudly, forcefully, and combatively talking to those tables, throwing out excuse after excuse why the restaurant wasn’t in the wrong. I stand by my disorganization comment and can firmly say that my family and I will not be a patron at this...
