My name is Josh and I am the Guest Relations Manager here at Quality Inn Anderson. My main job is to secure guest loyalty and guide the staff to get reviews for the property. I visited your establishment on 1/25/2019 and I was completely blown away by the service Diana gave me. After I mistakenly ordered the wrong size drink, Diana graciously and without hesitating made me the correct size drink. I offered to pay the difference of the upsize for MY mistake and she absolutely with a smile refused . She not only upsized my drink but also let me keep the smaller one at no charge. This simple kind act absolutely made my day and the day of the person I gave the other drink too. I often consider myself a connoisseur of Customer Service and always valuing the " guest is always right" . I have also learned through the years that a simple smile can go a long way. Diana embodies all of these attributes and the Starbucks establishment is very lucky to have her. I ask that management not just consider this another review to your great chain but recognize Diana for her above and beyond service. We often have employees who clock in, do their job and clock out. Read moreI never thought I'd be leaving a review for Starbucks but here we are... This is the worst location I've been to. The drinks are what I expect from any location but the service is terrible. I usually place my order when I'm leaving Sam's and go straight to the drive thru. They said I need to wait at least 5 minutes after placing an order to pickup. She told me I'd have to come inside since I hadn't waited the 5 minutes. I said I couldn't because I had small kids, 1 sleeping 1 crying so I didn't want to get down. So she said I'd have to wait, and wait I did... I could see them preparing drink after drink and bringing to the drive thru counter, they really made everyone's drink in order, making me wait my turn. Which, ok, fair! I dont mind waiting, but I'm watching all those drinks either melting ice, or getting cold if hot, and meanwhile I'm waiting for 1 drink. I get it, you want me to learn a lesson, but they're really that petty that they'd make everyone else's drinks sit there getting old just to make me wait - meanwhile my drink was fresh. Now I know why I have to wait so long in the drive thru other times - they're probably teaching someone else a lesson at the expense of my drink. Read moreI've waited a very long time to write this review as I wanted to give them a chance maybe to make things right.
In any given month in the upstate I may hit two dozen different Starbucks. As far north as Greer as far west as Seneca as far south as Anderson I think you get the point. Whether they are standalones or in ingles or in Target I find a good deal of consistency when I order my standard drink which is a trenta iced coffee with extra cream and extra sugar.
When I tell you that for some reason 23 Starbucks can get this right every single time but the one on Clemson boulevard in Anderson gets it wrong every single time I'm not exaggerating.
It's always dark and bitter every single time and when I give specific instructions on how many pumps of sweetener or how much extra cream why is it that this one location 100% of the time cannot get it right.
I mean this is a corporate entity. So if a Starbucks in Greenville can get it right and a Starbucks in Easley can get it right and a Starbucks in Powdersville can get it right why is it that every single time this particular location gets it wrong certainly it cannot be the same barista every time.
