I typically give good reviews and give the benefit of doubt but this place has earned my top 3 worst experiences to eat in Anderson, sc.
Hygiene issues- not a glove or washed hand in sight. The guy serving takes money and mops the floor.
Ordering - My order was incorrect and the person taking my order was not helpful. I asked about fry seasoning that was not on the menu. When I picked my food up from the counter there were clearly 3 fry seasonings available on the counter. I asked him about them and he said what do you want? I said I asked about the seasoning and there is some on the counter but is not in the menu.
Price - This place is overcharging. SC does not have a 9% food tax. For $29 I could have went to a sit down restaurant.
Atmosphere - there wasn't a trash can to throw my food away so I had to leave the trash on the tray. The tables and seats were not clean. I could hear the staff complaining while I was there. Did you know employees only get one no call/no show and typically start the next day? I only know that because the guy serving, mopping and taking orders gave an interview directly behind me. The ac vent leaked water on me.

Read moreI don’t like to give bad reviews, but it started with a phone call… The gentleman that answered for my call ahead order.., answered the phone said hello… He did not acknowledge his place of business, so I asked if it was Wingstop and he said yes… I asked him If I could place an order and he said we are about to close at 12… I said it’s only 10:40! so are you not taking any more orders… He said, only walk-ins… He was very rude, so I asked him who I was speaking with, and he hung up the phone… Was nearby, so I pulled up to the restaurant and asked for the manager… She never apologized .. She asked if I got the right number After showing her the number, on my cell phone.. she said she would take care of it, … She never acknowledged my concern, However, she did say that she understood how I felt And that she would feel the same way.. I even told her I wasn’t sure that I even wanted to order food after the phone conversation conversation, and she expressed that I didn’t have anything to worry about… but after paying and waiting on my food and coming back inside to pick it up… The manager showed no empathy or appreciation.. She just stared at me as though she was puzzled about why I was still there… Very...

The floor is either cleaned incorrectly or they are using the wrong product to clean it, and because of that it is slippery and hazardous. The table tops….we had to wipe them down ourselves. The bathrooms left a lot to be desired, and there was no soap in the lady’s room.
We ordered our food for dine in and was told there was an 8-10 minute wait. We waited around 30 minutes and I went to the desk to check on our order and was told, “we got it coming”.
At 45 minutes, I asked for a refund as my little one was about to his limits. Magically, the manager came to talk (from another store) and explained that someone must have picked up my order the first time and ours was moved to the next order. From that point it took less than 7 minutes to get our food.
We went ahead and ate, as I’d paid for it already. But this location brings discredit to the WingStops that we have visited in the past. The workers were disorganized, the whole place was in chaos and there was an employee locked in the bathroom when we first arrived….maybe that should have been an indicator.
