For the third time in 10 days, either they are closed before their stated hours of operation they have on the door and on the website, or, they have purposely ran out of popular ingredients, or so they say, or have shut down particular items such as the grill or anything that cooks anything other than tacos or burritos with cold ingredients. The time before this supposedly the district coach gave authorization for the late night manager to close down half an hour early. This is excruciating Lee bad when there are no choices for people who are on their third shift job getting their lunch and wanting something different and fresh. I can understand if there was a major equipment failure or a fire, or a health issue with one of the employees possibly having hepatitis A or some other kind of contagious health issue. Last year instead of being open through the drive-through until 3, it was shut down a few days and even a car placed in the Drive-Thru to block people from coming in, even though the sign was still on and there was no sign on the door indicating that dude is short staff and not being able to keep employees, good ones at that, they shut down. I found that out from the general manager of the store a couple of days after that. Even though they do have great employees on the night shift, questionable management calls are showing repeated times that they are closing before business has closed or significantly shutting down food items before close of business. With McDonald's and White Castle be the only other options after 2 a.m., many Factory workers like myself are wasting time that is valuable going through a drive-through Chulas restaurant that does not honor the stated operational business hours. If you're not going to be open till 3 with all of your choices, kindly put it in that your final order is going to be at 2: 30 a.m. because you want to soak the clock by not actually working when you are paid up until a certain time to close down. Mind you, this isn't a couple of minutes before closing time like 258, but it is a full last hour, the same last hour that they are the only Taco Bell open until 3 a.m. on Scatterfield Road, taking up the slack of traffic from the one down on 10th Street and Scatterfield. Yes this is long, but it is the truth. because of these last three experiences, I'm recommending to everyone that reads this review as well as my worldwide blog not to patronize at any hour of the day this particular Taco Bell and any the Central Indiana region. This is truly a managerial problem that needs to be looked at thoroughly from not only the franchise company but corporate. Not staying open during stated business hours not only waste my time but is possibly paying workers for not working so they can head out to the dumpster to blaze up. Time for some drug screens, time for some real talk from corporate. If Taco Bell corporate approves of this philosophy of closing the for stated business hours, they not only have lost my business but all of my 5000 loyal followers. I'm sure that will be a significant Market cut that McDonald's will pick up catty-corner across the street and not look good from a national standpoint. I advise everyone to stay away from this restaurant in till they stay open when they say they will be open because at this point they are wasting my time and gas. Again, until they get their act together, don't go to...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a Taco Bell. After waiting 15 minutes, our order was missing an item (9 taco/chalupa/burritos instead of 10). We'd ordered three $5 Chalupa boxes (one without sour cream on any item), chips and cheese, and a Doritos taco with just meat (which we received covered with stray lettuce). None of the special orders were marked, and the Chalupa boxes weren't used, so tracking down what was missing would've required taking apart the entire order, including unwrapping burritos. A manager suggested she'd remake our entire order... Nice, but we didn't want to wait another 15 minutes. She walked away without resolving the situation, forcing us to speak with the associate assembling the food directly. I asked if he would just remake the special order items, then I'd know those were covered. He seemed to understand, and went back to make a $5 Chalupa box with no sour cream and the meat-only taco. Alas, as it was being rolled by another associate, I could see sour cream on the burrito. He handed me the box and I commented that I saw sour cream on the burrito. He said that technically he didn't put it on, the other associate did, so I let him know it didn't really matter WHO had made it incorrectly, we needed it without sour cream. And we still needed that replacement taco. This was met with unkind remarks and arguing from the original associate, who finally slopped together a burrito without sour cream, all the while grumbling that he was done with me. The only good thing I can say about this visit was the ease of using the order screen, and the friendly smile of the associate that gave us our cups. Never again will I visit...
Read moreCompletely appalling experience tonight .I've ate at this location more times than I can count this year alone. Usually professional and pleasant staff. Tonight; my wife, young child and I went inside and ordered to eat in the dining room. The gentleman who took our order met us with a smile and carried on small talk while I ordered. All good as usual. My wife waited on the order and brought the tray to our table. Literally within one minute of her sitting down, I noticed they forgot one of my items and she noticed an item of hers was missing as well. I immediately took the tray back up and explained the items that were missing to the guy who took our order. He apologized and asked the make line to make what we were missing. I was caught off guard when the guy on the make line looked me in the eye and said "no, we made those". I replied, "I'm not saying you didn't make them, I'm saying we didn't get them". He turned around and said liud enough for me to hear, "yeah you did". I waited at the counter and when apparently it was time to make our missing food he exclaimed "I'm gonna make these burritos so they shut up and stop complaining". When he brought the items up he tossed them onto our tray and turned around. I wished him a good night and returned to the table. While eating, we noticeably heard 4 F bombs and at least a dozen more cuss words from the staff who sounded like they were having a party of some sort in the back instead of working. I love Taco Bell and one bad experience won't stear me away from it, but it's definitely enough to encourage me to use any of their locations other...
