I asked for ketchup. I received no ketchup.
I first heard of White Castle burgers back in the mid 1980's. I think it was from a beastie boys song. Then, of course, there was the Herald and Kumar movie back in the early 2000's From Portland Oregon, the nearest white castle restaurant is 1244 miles away, down in Goodyear Arizona. Of course I've tried the white castle burgers in the frozen food section at my local store. Once. They tasted horrible. But now, after almost forty years of hearing about white castle burgers, I finally get an opportunity to try some fresh off the grill. I ordered five regular and five with cheese. And a medium fries. I can tell you this for a fact. Fresh off the grill taste a lot better then frozen, from the store. But are they worth it? The sliders themselves are nothing to write home about. The actual burger is so thin that there's no juiciness to it. All of the flavor comes from the grilled onions and the pickle. They were not extremely dry, but i've never eaten a burger that had absolutely no juicyness in it. At least now I know. If you ever find yourself near a white castle, and you've got a couple bucks in change. You should at least stop in and give it a try. I think one slider is like $1.15. Grab one original and one cheese for your comparison. But if you have to go out of your way, then I wouldn't bother Because I drive an eighteen wheeler, I could not actually go into the restaurant to order. I had these delivered via Uber Eats. It took less than ten minutes from the time my Uber driver left the restaurant, to the time I was taking my first bite. I cannot comment on the service nor the atmosphere of...
Read moreNot a great experience at all! Ordered online and went to go pick it up. Upon entering, I wasn't greeted at all and the gal working the counter was having a conversation with one of her friends when I walked up and that seemed to be more important than taking care of any customers. She didn't ask "How can I help you?" or "What can I do for you today?", it was "What do you want?" which made me feel like I was burdening her. I told her I had an online order and she handed me my drink cups and when I went to go get my drinks from the machine, they were out of most everything and I only had 2-3 options to choose from. The whole place seemed rather dirty with trashcans overflowing, stuff all over the floor, and the drink station was GROSS. My food came out fairly quickly, however, I had specifically requested in the app in BIG bold letters that I didn't want ANY onions as I can't have them. I've eaten at other White Castle Locations and nobody has ever had an issue with this so I didn't figure it would be that big of a deal. Upon getting back to my hotel room and un-wrapping my sandwhich, it seemed as if they had mistaken NO onions for EXTRA onions, which didn't make me a happy camper at all! Probably won't return to this location...
Read moreIt puzzles me as to why the doors are locked. You have delivery drivers who have to cancel orders or have them reassigned because it takes too long to get the orders. That affects the driver not you guys because you are getting paid by the hour regardless. People are paying for the service of having hot food delivered this is why it cost more and what the price of gas delivery people do not have time to sit in a line of 10 to 15 cars and waiting almost an hour for an order and you have another order to pick up behind that one and they were losing money as the customers are canceling and dropping or the orders of being reassigned that’s not being for us because that is anywhere between 10 to 15 or more dollars for the hour and we have bills to pay just like everyone else I can understand just like McDonald’s who will allow all delivery people to come into the lobby but everyone else has to go through the drive-through so I think management really need to rethink how they’re handling this restaurant because it’s affecting other people financially and that’s not what a business is for what a business is set up in a community so they can rich the lives of other people but you’re not doing...
