I have been coming here for 6 years now... everything is ok! from the service, to the food, the asking from filling water, to changing the grill on the table... to clearing dirty plates.... yes... I often go to eat on weekends, my family is about 8-9 people... crowded but the staff are very enthusiastic. For the past 5-6 years, I have been very satisfied... until yesterday, I only went on Monday at the beginning of the week.. (me and 3 cousins) but arrived at 8:30... is that late??? is that considered late? while I entered and there were 5-6 tables of customers... as soon as we sat down... from entering the restaurant to leaving, there was only one person named Austin... I guess... at that time I thought the restaurant should let him go home early or not work the night shift... if he can't be happy with the customers, then don't work at night ok.. he didn't have any attitude to welcome us... I felt like I was begging??? coming to eat for free? go in and ask for his food?? lol... when my cousin ordered food at book.... because he felt late, my cousin ordered a lot of his favorite dishes.. so he wouldn't have to order again a second time... did he think it was our first time here? and he thought we were starving??? he asked: Did you finish eating? with a very condescending and contemptuous attitude... asked in a very rude way... I was very surprised at the attitude when coming to this familiar place.. šš¼ during the whole meal... only he served my table.. SERVED? No? brought the food to us with that attitude... is that his restaurant? during the whole process he never paid attention to changing our grill... i hate it... i don't like calling him.. he didn't even clean up our dirty plates... at the last minute he asked if we wanted to refill the water 𤣠so touching... when we wanted to order more in the book again... (because i hate it so i ordered more on purpose) ok š he said... will charge if there's leftover food... sorry bro šš¼ how much do you make a day? i will pay you 10 times your salary... and also pay for all the leftovers of the other 5 tables in the restaurant š.. we are business people.. know how to be polite... we will not leave too much food that is unacceptable š or if by chance... we will pay 5 times if you want... money is not the problem... the problem is his extremely rude and impolite attitude... š while we were eating... please check the camera.. there were still tables of customers... didn't we stay until almost 10:00.. why that attitude... we hadn't finished eating yet when he brought tea... was he cleverly chasing away the customers??? he walked back and forth looking at us with such an impolite gaze... yes.. while we were eating he brought the bill back and put it on the table and didn't have a mouth to say a word... to warn us? what kind of attitude is that? my cousin should have left early but because of that attitude he deliberately sat around a little longer š and when we left... another cousin of mine accidentally said Thank you... when there was no need to thank them.. I cursed him right when he thanked those staff... a bunch of staff were sitting there... and that Austin guy was standing there with his attitude and his dog face was so rude... how rich is he??? But this evening baffled me as I took my son in for him to have dinner as i finished up some work and announced to the server upon walking in that I was not eating and only he was as stated by the sign on the door. We enjoyed the meal as always until the check came and they charged me for the adult meal(25.99) and not the childrenās meal(15.99). I alerted the server after seeing the check and was asked if I ate and also how old my son was when he clearly was a child(6) and the childrenās meal is for 5-10yr olds. She then went away and about 5 min later came back and stated that the other server saw me eat and also checked the cameras and saw me eat. Now Iāve been fasting as well as I know and my son knew I didnāt eat and i wouldnāt have made a deal about until they accused me of eating and seeing it on camera when I knew that was impossible. Especially when they had came back so quickly. So I asked to speak to the manager and let her know that I too work in the industry and was not ok with the false claim and also that the servers would have any reason to check the cameras and not alert her, or to be falsely accused of when they were 100% wrong. Now the difference in payment wasnāt much but the disrespect in front of my child was where I had to stand up. The manager asked again how old my son was which upset me again when I had already told them twice even though he looks 6 and proceeded to tell me that itās never happened where a parent comes in and just cooks for their kid and doesnāt eat as well as the color of my shirt(which was white) could have been mistaken as grey on the camera and the server that looked at the camera possibly got the cameras switched for a table with a guy with a grey shirt. She then apologized and corrected my amount to the childās plate. If you go here please make sure you check your tabs and donāt let them over you when something is questionable. Iāve read a lot of reviews before going here to eat. Where I would like to start off at is... there was hair in our food!!! From the length of the hair it looks like a guys hair. Let me explain in detail. Just when I was about to eat the broccoli, I noticed a piece of hair that was wrapped really tight within/around the broccoli. Hmm donāt really know what I felt about that... Base on taste... I wouldnāt say that I would rate the meat and the food good. This is both based on quality and taste. All the food that I ate was cold except for the seaweed soup and miso soup... the rice, was also cold and dried.... Maybe because they left the rice pot open. Korean rice is one of the best rice Iāve ever eaten but that couldnāt meet up to my expectations either. Now this is where it gets sad because I am a huge Korean BBQ fan, A BIG ONE... the meat.... the meat... hmm.... none were good/top quality except for the LA GALBI. In which you have to order separately. The other meat that were place out, some were ok, while some has a taste as if it went bad. Also, FLIES!!! FLIES!! And again FLIES! Swarming around the meat on the buffet stand and area(not just the meat)... and FLIES swarming around as I eat and comfortably parking itself on my plate making it itās home.. hmph... I kept on playing the shoo fly game. (Insert MUSIC) š¶ āShoo fly donāt bother me! Shoo fly DONāT BOTHER ME!ā But I have to say... the tea that had a hint of cinnamon, ginger, and honey to it was so very delicious!!! LA Galbi was also Mmmm delicious and VERY JUICY! There was a girl wearing glasses that really provided great service. Many workers there but, I think she was the only one working instead of standing around and/or running towards the tip like everyone else who literally provided no service... Now that I think about it, I never asked her for her name! Anyways, thank you for providing such great service to us! You are an amazing...
