Wendy's — Restaurant in Arlington

I came through the drive thru a couple weeks ago to grab lunch for my husband while he was working, so I was very happy when I saw that this drive thru had hardly any line at all, but once I started to place my order it was apparent as to why, the lady taking my order had a hard time understanding what I said so I had to repeat myself several times. I also ordered a hot tea, I always get confused looks when I order this because not very many people order it and most of the employees don't even realize it's on the menu, so I expected some confusion on my drink. I pull up to the window and the lady at the window tells me that they aren't going to serve the hot tea because they don't sell it. I told her that I have ordered it in the past and that it is on their menu and she said that she would have to look on the menu later and stood at the window after handing me my food like she was waiting for the next customer. I reminded her about my drink order and she came back with an iced tea and said we don't serve hot tea. I asked if it was because they were out or if she just didn't want to, she replied with I don't know, I don't think we serve that. I tried my best to remain polite with the employee because I have had to deal with 'those customers' before and never want to become one myself, but the employee was very rude and refused to try. I had them refund my drink and left after it was apparent that the employee was not willing to try to get my order correct and I had to get the food to my husband so that he could actually eat on his very short lunch break. Then when I gave him the burger they gave us the wrong order!

This the 2nd time I've had a bad experience with the same girl in the drive thru which takes the money, not the order taker. The 1st time she dropped my CC on the ground, had to get another one because it was run over and damaged. This last time I went through the drive thru, she scanned my card about to drive off and then stated it didn't go through. She kept scanning on both sides using differnt scanners, ok, so I thought. When I viewed my statement she charged me for something I didn't order. I went back to speak to the Supervisor Teresa which was worse. She was not able to rectify the situation, called her Mgr Diane. Then Teresa provided multiple excuses why she couldn't view the video to prove I was right. First, she stated I need to go to the bank to get a receipt while I'm showing her a copy of the charge on my phone with the date and provided the time. Prior to it was oh, I need my glasses to see, then she would be able to view once she knew the time. But, although I provided the time, then stated she needed a key to open it?? Poor leadership and Management as well as the girl that caused the issue wasn't paying attention to what she was doing and lack of proper training. Luckily, I was able to get that charge removed on my end with no help from Wendy's Management...

I honeswettly do not recommend anyone to go there cause I found unprofessional staff. I had never experienced like that, actually I went to there pick up food from uber eats. The time was 11:15pm. I was about to go drive thru but I saw some girls going inside the restaurant. So I wanted to go inside pick up the food but unfortunately door was locked then I saw some people coming from car, I waited to go inside with them. And they were friends of those girls who went inside few min ago. They called her and she came to open the door then I went inside with them but the staff came and keep my and get me out from the restaurant. He said you go drive thru and I said I am here to pick up the order and he replied go drive thru dine room is closed. And I asked so why they are in there? He did not say anything and ask my customer name I told the customer name I waited 10 minutes. And finally he came to asked customer name and I told him the customer name and I asked him, how long does it going to take time? He replied 3 Moore min and I waited 10 min but he did not come and I cancel the order . I found discriminate there . Cause he allowed to go inside them who were same race like him. I hope no one will get experience...
