Bojangles — Restaurant in Asheville

First time in a year trying this location from previous disappointment. So here goes, no gas card with the bundle deal. No Tea jugs for the family meal. Had to wait for fries to cook.(I'm ok with waiting for hot fries) the lady at the window was very apologetic. However one of the mgrs kinda acted like we were the ones with a problem. Even though I said it's ok every time the lady in the window said sorry were out of this or that. Got home some of the tenders were barely the size of a chicken nugget. Only 1 sauce was in the box. The picnic fry we waited for was half full at best and no seasoning on them. My wife felt so defeated at this point her eyes began to water. Sadly it's just not worth trying to go back and make the order right. Especially with no gas card and that was the promo. I normally don't bother with bad reviews. A robot will just give you a generic response about supply chain or labor issues. Well I deliver for the biggest fast food chain company in the world. So I know what supply and labor issues are real. We were at the fair two weeks ago with a huge group. I went to order our food around 11:30-12:00 on a Sunday. This order was well over 100. The dining room was closed so I pulled into the drive thru knowing I had a large order and would have to pull to the side once it was placed. There was probably 5 cars infront of me and by the time pulled up to place our order I probably had 5 behind me. Realistically I had in my mind what I figured would be a 30 minute wait and would have completely understood. Not only were they super efficient and fast like our order was finished in under 7 minutes but the staff was extremely friendly. We weren't missing anything, all the food was hot, and they made sure I had all the utensils, plates, and cups I needed. AWESOME STAFF! Frequent this drive-thru at least once a week, and order just the “side” chicken, no bread or fries. Actually went in the restaurant this week, and wound up forgetting my purse on the back of a chair! I didn’t notice it for more than 24 hours (working non-stop on my computer) and finally deducted that I must have left it there. I called and Sherri said they had found it and had it locked up in the office. Wow, my car key and everything you can imagine was in my purse; and they never even opened it! Love these people; they are always so nice, accommodating and have a work culture most offices only dream of. Thank you Sherri and staff for renewing my hopes in humanity by doing what you do.
