🤤🥪 The Turkey Stack 🦃 is my new 🥇FAVORITE🥇 sandwich in all of ATL (sorry Victory). The inner side of bread is perfectly toasted, providing considerable crunch and a carmelized flavor. The cranberry relish adds the perfect amount of sweetness. And I really enjoyed the thick slice of fresh mozzarella. This sandwich reminds me of the ones a shop that used to be in Star Provisions on Howell Mill used to make. I've missed that place ever since they closed, and I've finally found a worthy replacement. I also highly recommend the Meatloaf sandwich. The pimento cheese and (turkey?) meatloaf play so well together 🤤. We were expecting eggplant and avocado on the vegan Captain Planet, but what we got had chickpeas and no avocado 🥑. It was really tasty, but just know that the vegan sandwich ingredients may differ from the Insta Menu 🤷🏾♀️. The Classy Chicken Salad 🐔 🥗 sandwich is good with tender chicken and a lovely dill and herb flavor, but I found it to be VERY salty 📈🧂. The house made sea salt chips are simple and good. I hope they offer additional flavor options in the future (like BBQ, garlic, honey mustard, sour cream and onion) 😊🤞🏾.
💻 Visit their Instagram page for the menu. I don't understand why the website doesn't have a menu 🤔🤷🏾♀️.
🚗 We parked in the Coda deck, which is $4 for up to 30 minutes. At 11:55AM on a Friday, it took 22 minutes to park on level 3 (lots of parking on level 2 is reserved), order and get 4 sandwiches with chips and 3 slices of cake. Next time I'd try to park on the street using ParkMobile...
Read moreTerrible service here. We visited for lunch and ordered at the self-checkout. The only employee was in the aisle chatting with a friend and did not acknowledge the order despite seeing us use the machine. We (and a couple other customers) waited for over ten minutes before the employee went to the back and took out a pre-made, refrigerated sandwich. Waiting a bit is understandable if the sandwiches were freshly made, but this was absolutely unnecessary - as customers, we felt that our time was not valued. After handing us the sandwich, the employee resumed chatting with his friend outside of the restaurant in the aisle, giving the impression that the restaurant was unmanned (see picture). The sandwich itself was okay, but overall we had a terrible experience. We would not come back and definitely could not recommend humble mumble to any of...
Read moreThere are hundreds of places to get lunch around Georgia Tech. I don't think I will eat here again.
The meatloaf melt was actually pretty good: a slice of meatloaf, pimento cheese, nice lettuce. (The bun was pretty soft. I would have preferred something a little crustier.)
It was $13.
Here's the thing: I asked for a glass of water. I assumed I would get a paper cup filled with water, and I would have been OK with a paper cup that I could fill myself from the water fountain. Instead I was told that they don't provide cups and I should buy a can of coke ($3) or a bottle of water ($2).
I think if you charge $13 for a sandwich, your customer service needs to be a lot...
