Brunch on the Beltline was absolutely amazing! One flew south | Ludacris’ Chicken + Beer🍻 is definitely worth all the hype. I love a good brunch and I can’t wait to go back 😍😋. (P.S. Order The Shrimp & Grits 100/10) Thanks oneRMP for the invite 🫶🏾. I would highly reccomend this place🙌🏾. We visited this black owned establishment on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. I made a reservation online same evening prior to with no issue. They have a One Flew South location at the Atlanta airport also which has great food. It was very difficult to find this place and we ended up having to park at a parking lot that was a little walk from the place. There is some side street parking, but it is probably going to be taken. I had to call the restaurant and ask them where they were located and was informed they are directly next door to Shake Shack. I just so happened to look to my right and I saw the place down under the street directly on the Beltline. We had to go down into the Beltline area via a ramp to get to the place. Upon arrival it was clean, modern, and had a new age restaurant/bar feel. The receptionist was nice and validated our reservation which allowed us to be seated right away. We chose to sit indoors, but there were a good amount of people sitting outdoors. They have a nice patio area with a roof covering, huge umbrellas, and patio lights. We felt it was too hot to sit outdoors. Our waitress Alyssa was nice and professional and assisted us with the menu. This menu is different from the menu in the airport, but they still have sushi options like the other location. We ordered the following items: the deviled egg experience with bacon jam, duck flatbread, grilled short ribs, forbidden rice pudding, and grow a pear cocktail. The grow a pear cocktail was refreshingly sweet and had a nice presentation in the oversized martini glass. It definitely reminded me of a lemon drop just with a pear essence instead. The deviled egg experience wasn’t what we were expecting. All of the ingredients are separate and you have to make the deviled eggs yourself. These were delicious once we assembled them with rich egg chives filling and the savory jerky like bacon jam to complement. The plate also included radish, black salt, and crumble topping. The duck flatbread was enough to share if you aren’t that hungry. Otherwise it’s a great portion size for a hungry person. The pizza was savory, seasoned well, and had great toppings including succulent duck! The grilled short ribs had a tough texture and were difficult to eat. Also they had a lot of bone, but they really weren’t tender at all. Short ribs are supposed to be fall off the bone good. I definitely would not recommend these at all. It’s unfortunate because my boyfriend was torn between getting the short ribs and the chicken katsu. The chicken katsu probably would’ve been a better option to be honest. The coconut fried rice the short ribs came with was seasoned well and fried crisply to perfection into cubes. The forbidden rice pudding was not good at all. We initially wanted the midnight eclipse which is a cake. They didn’t have it which I don’t understand because this was a Tuesday evening and it wasn’t jam packed. The rice pudding had a looser consistency than I’m used to with rice pudding. Also it tasted like it had a chocolatey flavor which doesn’t really work well for me with rice pudding. We didn’t even finish it because we disliked it that much. I wouldn’t recommend it. We probably should’ve just skipped dessert to be honest. I did use the restroom here and I was able to use it with no issues since it was nice and clean. The business also has a 100 health score which is excellent. I know it’s a new business so that’s probably why their score is so high so hopefully they will be able to maintain that in the A range. Overall I felt the experience was just ok. I didn’t feel this restaurant was anything to write home and the food and drinks are quite pricy. In my opinion I think like many restaurants they want to cater to their white clientele so some items just aren’t as good as they could be from a texture standpoint especially, but priced at a high threshold. I don’t not recommend this place, but I won’t be returning. I would however advise that patrons try the location in the airport because they have some great food options such as the open face meatloaf sandwich.

This place is a Vibe!!! It is the a best meal we've enjoyed since our visits to the ATL. (Let me tell you I like to enjoy good food and service). We wanted a fine dining experience & they did not disappoint. I give them a Gold Star, 5 out of 5. We were told about this location. It's in a hidden spot (to someone not native to ATL). We were greeted with wholehearted Southern Hospitality as we entered the location. Our bartender was a beautiful young lady named Nasia. Her beauty shined even brighter through her pleasant personality. Her service was perfect. We wasn't certain what to get and went along with her recommendations. My Husband enjoyed a Golden Ticket Cocktail. He said it was good! He appreciated she was generous with the alcohol. I will say all of the food was bursting with flavor!!! It was really good. We had the Smoked Turkey Wing as an Appetizer. The Hot Bourbon flavor has the perfect kick to it. Our entrees were equally pleasing! I enjoyed the Salmon Curry with Fried Rice & Slaw. I am not a Green Curry flavor type of lady because I don't like any taste of Ginger. However I enjoyed the slight hint of Curry taste. You get to pour how much you want on your dish. The Salmon was perfect!!! I even ate the back skin which had a great crisp to it. Honestly it was delicious without the sauce. My husband enjoyed the Pork Belly & Potstickers drizzled with Ramen Broth and Shaved Brussels Sprouts. He gave his meal a solid 10!!! The ambiance is very elegant. They have beautiful outdoor seating area as well. I would easily do a gathering at this location. No extra decor needed for the celebration. An additional bonus, the General Manager Mr. Nash come over and introduce hisself. He was very personable and grateful we choose to dine with them. Prices are right & service is how everyone should operate. I highly recommend visiting this establishment. You get your monies worth.

I definitely would not recommend this restaurant! After watching bar masters i was so excited to try out this place, we called in for a reservation of 10, we arrived about 15 minutes prior to our reservation, they informed us that the restaurant was extremely busy and our table would be ready soon, i went in and went a head to go to the ladies room, the restaurant was basically empty one couple sat at the massive bar and a group of 4 in the corner and another couple sat near where our table was. Every other table was empty! We finally where set at our table about 5 minutes after our reservation so not to bad of a wait, we ordered drinks and it was over an hour before we received our drinks with 3 people working behind the now empty bar, just ridiculous, we finally placed our food order most of our party ordered the burger, the waiter Aubrey was extremely nice and well educated of the menu, Aubrey came back out and apologized to the last guy in our party that he wouldn't be getting a burger because the ran out, also that the person who wanted pork belly wouldn't be getting that either because they ran out. After about 2 hours our food finally came out except mine, all the burgers and ribs, our entire party was finished eating before my vegetarian sushi was brought out. Our 2nd round of drink that where brought out where half the size of the first drinks the waiter explained that it was because the cups where larger than the first round, my glass was still on the table so i poured it into my first glass and it wasn't even a 3rd of the same amount as the first, it was if they made them all in one shaker and didnt actually have enough so they just settled for what was put in the glass. Me and my husband paid the bill for all 10 of our party, it was over 800.00 for all of us to eat and drink. The deviled eggs where really good, the other food was just ok. The best part of our dinner was our friends and family being with us. I would not recommend this place at all unless you just like to...
