Mixed feelings about this place. ~$14 for a two protien sushi burrito, which is a really good price. This includes, with no surcharge, seaweed salad, and a bunch of toppings. Cream cheese and avocado are extra, but not unreasonably, especially since the avocados are freshly sliced and not precut, sitting out oxidizing. The atmosphere is good. Nice and bright. A good place to sit down, have a boba, and just relax to brighten my day. What was disappointing was the taste of the sushi burrito itself. The raw freshwater salmon wasn't slimey or fishy, but it lacked its own salmon flavor. I love sashimi, so the pink salmon color totally mislead me to expect a deep flavor. I had the spicy and regular salmon, and I found this was the case for both. Additionally, the rice with nori was oily and had this bitter taste. I'm not sure if it was sesame oil that had been open to the air too long or what, but it left an unpleasant taste in my mouth and clashed with the flavors of the filling. The flavor would have probably gone nicely with kimbap roll (which is why I think it's sesame oil), but it didn't really match the flavor of the sushi burrito itself. The overall taste of the burrito was fine. It wasn't bad, but it was also something I wouldn't find myself craving. If I were a local, I would see myself coming back for an affordable bite, but as a tourist, I would go to a better place for a little extra of a cost.

I stopped by Pokeworks in Midtown Atlanta recently and here's what stood out: The bowls are fresh and customizable—you build your own with high-quality ingredients like sashimi-grade tuna, hand-cut salmon, chicken, or tofu . One reviewer on Yelp mentioned being “extremely impressed with the amount of protein they give,” saying their bowl “was overflowing with high quality tuna.” Service was generally fast and efficient, though there were a few mixed comments—some folks love all the topping options, while others experienced sauce overload on their bowl . Parking is worth noting—street parking is limited and metered, so one suggestion was to park in the Publix lot nearby to save hassle . Overall, Pokeworks offers a solid, build-your-own poke experience in Midtown with generous portions, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. Just come in with an appetite—and maybe park a block over for peace of mind. Let me know if you'd like a version tailored to highlight price, atmosphere, or delivery options!

i ordered out and requested 3 protein and one additional for a total of 4 protein. i also paid $1 per additional side sauce. i was refunded by the platform but i only ate a few bites of the proteins to see if they even put any spicy tuna in here. there looks like only 2 servings of regular tuna, i did eat a bunch of rice before this photo although the rice in this bowl wasnt filled to the top. food is delicious but totally a rip off in my opinion, because even with assuming there are only about 2 servings in here of protein, thats simply an estimate due to it being the only option on the website. even so, i am glad to have gotten a refund because this was very surprising. paying $20+ for ponzu, a few toppings and a pinch of meat is insane. i feel like the toppings are barely in there either, i got the large 100% white rice. there arent even any sesame seeds in here and there are barely any green onions.. whoever made this.. uhh???

I can confidently say I’m one of Pokeworks’ best (and most loyal) customers, and for good reason. Every time I place an order, I know I’m about to experience a meal that’s fresh, flavorful, and perfectly tailored to my preferences. What makes Pokeworks stand out isn’t just the incredible quality of their poke bowls—it’s the care and thoughtfulness they put into every detail.

First, let me gush about the personal touch. Every time I get my order, there’s a hand-drawn Hello Kitty on the bag. It’s such a simple gesture, but it completely makes my day. It’s those little touches that show they value their customers as individuals, not just another name in the queue. Honestly, it’s rare to find a place where the staff takes the time to go the extra mile like that, and it keeps me coming back again and again.

Now, onto the food—the real star of the show. The flavors in their poke bowls are out of this world. They have absolutely mastered the art of balancing every ingredient so that no single flavor overpowers the others. Whether it’s the freshness of the fish, the crunch of the veggies, or the perfect amount of sauce, everything comes together in perfect harmony.

I’m someone who knows exactly what I want, and I’m pretty particular about my orders. For instance, I always request extra garlic (because let’s face it, garlic makes everything better), and they follow my notes to the T every single time. No corners are cut, no details are missed—it’s like they read my mind. It’s rare to find a place where the staff is this attentive to special requests, but at Pokeworks, it feels like second nature to them.

The portions are generous, too, and the ingredients are always so fresh. You can tell they care about quality, from the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the fish to the crispness of the vegetables. The variety of toppings and mix-ins they offer is incredible, so it’s easy to create something that feels personalized and exciting every time. And let’s not forget the sauces! The spicy mayo, sesame shoyu, and all the others are perfectly crafted to complement the bowl without being overwhelming.

Beyond the food itself, the experience of ordering from Pokeworks is seamless. Whether I’m ordering online or in-store, the process is fast, efficient, and hassle-free. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making it clear they take pride in their work and genuinely want their customers to enjoy the meal.

To sum it up, Pokeworks isn’t just a place where I grab a meal—it’s a place that consistently delivers happiness, both through incredible food and thoughtful service. From the fresh, perfectly balanced poke bowls to the personal Hello Kitty drawings on my bag, they’ve created an experience that feels uniquely special. I can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking for a meal that’s as delicious as it...

Came in to order to-go on my way home, nearby. I went to the cashier, not realizing orders are taken at the order end of the counter. I went to the other end to order and group of students walked in after me. The workers started taking their orders and skipped me. One worker finally asked if I was ready. I was standing at the order side for a while few minutes by then and a group was skipped ahead of me, of course I was ready to order. I ordered a sushi burrito and asked for a topping on the side. I got home and noticed it wasn’t there. When I ordered, looked like the worker put the side item in a to-go ramekin that was inside the to-go bowl. I stopped at this location because I was in the area and it was late night by the time I got to sit down and eat after finishing work and driving through traffic. I can’t accurately rate the food because I’m missing items, which is disappointing. The customer service was not a good experience, though the worker who noticed what was going on tried to recover by helping me in between the group that was skipped ahead of me for an unknown reason. For those wondering, yes I was the only Black customer at the time. Also, you have to pay to park. That’s not their fault, I’m just over it when it comes to ordering to-go and having to budget for parking. I’m likely not returning to try again because of the location and parking, but the customer service is what makes me think I’m definitely not coming back. This is probably great for people who live within walking distance and Georgia...

I came in tonight at 9pm and saw a long line of around 7 people in front of me and there was only 1 employee making the bowls. After 30 minutes of waiting for my turn, i was notified that there were no white rice left, which was really strange for a poke place. They could’ve told me that before i wait for 30 minutes. I was pretty devastated for waiting so long and there’s no where else open at this time. I told them I’ll just go with no base then realized i was going to be charged full price, so I decided to have the salad on the side. I’m giving this place a 3 star because of how inexperienced and lack of problem solving the staffs were. There were about 4-5 employees working but only 1 managing the line. It shouldn’t take 30 minutes to serve 7 people, especially in this fast-line concept. The lack is white rice shows how unprepared the place was they were going to charge me full price regardless of not getting a base. Some of the staffs hair behind the line weren’t tied back which is concerning for this kind of layout. The place was clean and cute but i don’t see myself coming back anytime soon. Management please look into this issues and train your staffs more when problems arises. When a key ingredient like white rice is out, guests should’ve been notify immediately when they come in. And customers shouldn’t be charged the full price while not getting a base either, especially when every toppings is extra when ask for a bit more. I was going to get a drink too but was irritated by this interaction that i...
