I would rate this as a 5 but the manager there has ticked me off. Which I will get into later. First, let me just say the person that normally does the checkout blonde hair light skin tall usually makes the coffee is absolutely amaizng. Secondly the food is good and they carry dancing goats coffee which is my absolute hands-down favorite! The restaurant is always clean. Down to the reason why I'm giving them a 4; they give Punch Cards. Every time you buy coffee you get a punch and I was told on Wednesdays you get a double punch. This past Wednesday when I purchased my coffee, the manager checked me out. He would not give me the double punch for Wednesday. Wasn't mad, just said ok. I must have been misinformed. Well, today I go and order a cold brew coffee ($2.15) and a breakfast panini ($3.99). This time the manager won't punch my food card because my sandwich was not $6 or more. Yet, my overall total came out to $6.69. Mind you the food card has to have SIXTEEN (16) purchased lunches in order to receive ONE free sandwich or salad. ONE! Now, that means I have to purchase 16 times at least more than $6 a sandwich. So let's use $7 and do the math (assuming I purchase a sandwich only). 7x16= $96. I have to spend AT LEAST NINETY-SIX DOLLARS in order for me to receive ONE (1) Sandwich or salad. This resturaunt is a franchise. Are they that stingy with money that they require you to spend almost $100 just to receive one free sandwich or salad? In my opinion, If I purchase any type of food from their menu, no matter the price; they should be punching my punch card. I am just blown away at the "rules" to this punch card. Since when are there rules? & since when does someone have to spend $100 just to get a free sandwich. I had stopped going to Land of 1,000 Hills because I liked this place a lot; but now knowing how money hungry this company is... I'm second guessing my decision. Last note: I included photo of my panini and coffee. Which was good so thank you for at least providing good...

Last time, I ordered the Turkey Cheeser with no tomato—so I was debating between that and the special teriyaki chicken bowl this time. The guy behind the counter helped me decide and recommended the teriyaki bowl. He broke down the ingredients: red and green peppers, lettuce, green scallions, onions, and teriyaki chicken, all on a bed of rice with a sweet sesame sauce. Sounded good, so I went with that to-go. The wait wasn’t long. I sat outside and started eating. It was solid—the flavor was nice—but the peppers were a little too soft for my taste. I usually prefer them with more crunch. Overall, it was a good bow,I planned on just eating half of it but ended up eating the whole thing. The staff behind the counter was super helpful and friendly. 3.5 Rating

Read moreEvery time I come into this place I get ignored. Then, when I finally order, the person who takes my order doesn't really acknowledge me. The manager is lurking in the background like a sweatshop warden, ready to pounce whenever his power trip personality requires it. He has been personally rude to me on numerous occasions. Besides ALL of this, the food is awful, or, to be fair, not very exceptional. I would look the other way on the horrendous service if it were even average, but it isn't. Best bet is to head over to Paris Bistro, where they staff is very friendly and the food is much better. Oh, and it costs less....
