I am going to say this first it have took me 3 days to write this post. First of all, i take full responsibility of eating here. When this pop up on my google feed and said 4.5 rating and it has gluten free pizza. I trust that they knew what it meant. I walk in and ask for a gluten free pIzza, the guy just put the crust on the pan that had gluten on it. This where i should have walk out (noted that i have walk an hour to get to this place). 2nd after putting the crust on a sorted clean pan, he used the same utensil to dip the pizza sauce in and use the same gloves. I was just frozen. At this point thr staff was using the same utensil to take the pizza out with the other regular pizza. Again i should have walk out. But to the point i went to the manager and explained that i have Celiac Disease and i noticed that it was too much cross contamination had happen to make my pizza. He did give my money back with no problem. But after 3 mins later he stated that crust is gluten free and ask what am i exactly allergic to, and even though the pizza cooked with the other pizza IT WILL BURN OFF THE GLUTEN. THAT BEING SAID I WAS SHOCK. Again i just said very nicely it was cross contamination , but thank you for refund. Do not go there if you have CELIAC DISEASE please. Also the workers behind the scences there was very nice and kind no shade on them. This restraunt seem to have good food for ppl do not have our issue, but need to educate each other what it mean to have gluten free pizza. We just want understanding of our disease its very hard to find good...
Read moreI visited this restaurant a couple of days ago with someone for lunch. The environment was filthy, roaches are visible and running all over the bread and other areas. As if that were not enough, a big roach crawled into the box of the person that I was with while we were eating. We asked the owner to come and see it, he smashed it with his hand and said it was not a big deal. He kept repeating that so that at we would not discuss it in front of other customers. We demanded our money back and will never return again. Eat at your own risk. By the way, he never washed his hands and went back to checking out customers and handling their food. I ate against my better judgment that day after viewing the conditions of the environment while waiting on my food and boy did I pay a price for it. At first I was unsure if I saw a big roach near the bread bag, but I was certain after my experience. I saw a smaller one in another area by the food. Yet, I attempted to eat anyway. I was mad with myself for forcing the issue as opposed to asking for a refund before we had the horrible experience. Roaches are not permissible anywhere, especially in restaurants! How dare he down play...
Read moreTwo days ago, I went to Rosa's Pizza (located by Georgia State University) and ordered a pizza. While eating, I noticed that the toppings were falling off (I was okay with that). Later, I found a bug near the pizza. Today, I went back to the restaurant to request a refund. However, the staff member I spoke to said that I needed to show them the box with the bug inside, and I had a video of it, which they didn't want to see and accept. I threw away the box with the bug as soon as I noticed it. I couldn't return to the restaurant on Monday because it was closed, and on Tuesday, I was busy. Now, on Wednesday, they are telling me that I can't get a refund because I don't have the box with the bug in it. Do they expect me to keep the box with the bug in it for two days? This is unacceptable, and absolutely disgusting. The person who I was talking to didn’t show any remorse and didn’t apologize for the incident instead, he kept harping about the pizza box the bug was in. I would like to support the black-owned business however, this business was very unprofessional and unapologetic. I hope nobody experience what I...
