I’m a huge fan of Sweetgreen and was excited to try this new location. As a previous Sweetgreen black member and an everyday consumer in NY to LA (consuming 1-2 bowls a day precovid), sadly this location disappoints. I decided to venture away from my typical harvest bowl order and got the special peach and burrata salad. That was a mistake. What makes Sweetgreen unique is their constant innovation and new partnerships, seasonal salads and mixes that leverage local and fresh produce to bring joy to my afternoon meal. In the past I fondly recall David Chang’s Tingly Sweet Potato and Kelp bowl and Nancy Silverton’s custom salad with highlights being the spicy broccoli and crispy rice drizzled in a lime cilantro jalapeƱo vinaigrette. For me, that would have also been the new seasonal peach and burrata salad. šŸ„—šŸ‘ The question I pose is: What is a mint julep with no mint? Similarly, what is a Sweetgreen peach & burrata salad with no mint? There was no notification of out of stock items: As I was about to checkout and inquired about basil and mint, key ingredients listed in the seasonal salad! My basil was forgotten and I was told the mint was unavailable. To me that defines an incomplete salad and as a promoted seasonal option only in the South, I expected more consistency with my bowls. I’m hopeful that this store improves over time but at minimum, we salad enthusiasts should be be notified that certain items are unavailable beforehand in order to fully experience each salad. Highlights: very fresh tomatoes & accepts Apple Pay

Just had another amazing experience at Sweetgreen in Ponce City Market and had to share! The food was so good—I got the Chicken + Avocado Ranch bowl and it was fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. Everything tasted clean and perfectly balanced. There was surprisingly no line. What really made the visit even better was the service. Aja (I hope I’m spelling her name right!) took care of me, and she was absolutely wonderful—the kindest energy. She was warm, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel personal and thoughtful. She also shared the QR code for SG’s new rewards program.šŸŽ‰ā˜ŗļø Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to, not just for the food but for the people too. Shout out to Aja for being a rockstar!

Criminally slow service. I ordered two salads for pick up using the app. The order didn’t populate as being in progress until 30 minutes later. Once marked complete, 40 minutes later, I entered the store to pick up my order and was informed that the order had not even been started. An hour later, I’m sitting in sweetgreen on Ponce typing this review. When I arrived there were at least 8 other people waiting for pickup orders as well. This is not the typical service I’m used to at Sweetgreen. Deeply disappointed.

When I found out there was a sweetgreen in Atlanta I was SO EXCITED to come here. I have been a big fan of sweet greens and am always excited to try their new seasonal salads.

I drove 45 minutes out of my way to come here and get a salad. It is a high price point and I was okay with that because sweetgreen is worth it.. usually.

When I walked in, there were at least 8 people working behind the counter. Not one person spoke or even acknowledged we were there. There was one person in front of us in line and only one person working the counter. I understand that things can get hectic and busy and there was an opportunity to catch up on prep, but at least communicate that in some way?

While waiting in line, several other people came to stand in line and they were also not greeted and 0 people went to assist with counter service. I have never been so uncomfortable in a restaurant in my life. Like I said I had been really looking forward to this location but as I waited in line for 10 minutes without so much as an acknowledgement of my existence, I contemplated leaving. I have worked in customer service and I understand these jobs are hard on morale but where was the manager? It is someone’s job to make this experience positive for the team and customers.

The location of this store is great and the inside is beautiful, but the energy and vibe inside this location is the worst I have ever experienced. I hope that it can get better but I will probably...

I have been a long-time patron at Sweetgreen Ponce City Market and I have to say that most of the time, this location was good. However, the last 2 in-person visits have been deplorable. The associate that prepared my salad had the most horrible customer service and interaction I’ve ever encountered here before. She comes off as if she is having the very worst day. Her attitude is very curt, discourteous, and bad-mannered, and it’s completely unprovoked. She appears to be upset if you don’t speak quickly enough when ordering, but she does a poor job of prompting when she’s ready for the next food selection and what to do when in a line when others are in front of you in line. She mutters softly whispering words as if she’s a complete mute and then appears to be bothered when I kindly uttered back that I don’t know what she wants me to do and that it would be helpful to let me know how to proceed when the line is full. Does the customer yield until there’s room to complete the order OR do you want to get all the salad accommodations? This is a simple task and something that an associate should be able to establish when servicing the customer.

It’s an unbecoming look on an establishment that is constantly losing foot traffic and superior ratings; likely due to the lack of solid customer service.

I’m not sure of the remedy, but a start of repairing the staff and their efficiency and outward demeanor would be a...
