I love love sweetgreen but this location is the worst one I’ve been too. I literally sigh in disappointment when I crave sweetgreen because I live walking distance from this one so it’s convenient for me but it’s ALWAYS a let down compared to the one in Colony Square.
I’ve been to this location over a dozen times so I can speak to what my experience ALWAYS is. It’s never not a miss. Here’s all the things wrong below:
The size of the bowls: they barely fill the bowl halfway, they’ll put like 3 HUGE lettuce leaves and a couple sprinkles of spring mix. They really cheap out on the size and chop of the salad and veggies.
Missing items: you HAVE to check your order before leaving… there hasn’t been one time I wasn’t missing something. Everytime I get the guac greens the chips and lime are always missing, that’s a training issue since employees dont know the menu.
Quality: something is just off recipe wise here. The sweet potatoes are mushy and sub par. The jalapeno dressing literally tastes and looks like salsa it’s so chunky. The onions are also not pickled, I don’t mind the raw onion I prefer it but it just speaks to the lack of knowledge of menu items. The chips are literally crumbs instead of decent sizes.
Stock: They’re ALWAYS running out of protein. And if you put an online order in they’ll just make your order with whatever protein they have. Just wait until the customer gets there and ask them their preference. But this is in a large busy mall so prep of food amount should be handled better.
Online orders: they refuse to use the pick up area, so when they’re busy you have to stand there and wait to get my food from behind the counter, workers will also catch an attitude if you say excuse me and ask for your meal. The point of online ordering is to be in and out if I was going to wait for people’s bowls to be built, I would have stood in line.
I just really hope better for this location because it’s in an extremely convenient area, and I want to be excited to go here. This location isn’t held in the same regard as the other locations. Colony Square does a really good job at size of the bowl, and getting...
Read moreI used to like this place about 3years ago, but the service has gone down. I went there last night and purchased (3) salads right at $60, but did not get moneys worth. I asked the fellow, why so little greens? He says, the owner is cutting back and we have to give a little, wow, as much as this s--t cost, you me to tell me she has to scale back on greens????call myself getting double portion of fish, which in actuality those (2) pieces were hardly one portion anyway. I paid with $60 cash, the guy had the nerve to go inside the bread bin and grab the pieces of bread I ordered with the same nasty glove he handled the cash with. I kindly asked him to not give me that bread and he apologized and removed the glove and put another on, as if he was performing plastic surgery, You can tell he was not accustomed to practicing sanitary habits. I will never go there again. this is not the first time this has happened. Last year about 8months ago a young lady did the dame thing she actually picked the bread up with her bare hands and got an attitude because I told her I didn't want that one either and she was working at the mobile station. This is why I took a break from this place. Nasty nasty nasty. They also so too much chitter chatter all over the food line to say they don't even mask up! Georgia is (2) out of 50 Purple states that has the worst case of viruses. God help anybody that continues to eat here!...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible customer service at this location. I came in for a salad and due to unsanitary conditions, I asked for my salad to be remade. This time an individual who identified as Sarah (claims they were the manager)told me that my salad would not be remade because there was no way that the conditions were unsanitary. I further went on to explain what I saw in the salad and my concern was dismissed. At this point I paid 11$ and asked if it was going to be remade or not. I tried handing the original salad back and Sarah snapped at me telling me to not hold it over the counter then went on to pick up the new bowl, barely put half of the original amount of veggies in it and then slop the dressing on to make it extra soggy. It’s interested they were so upset when their job especially as someone who identifies as the manager should be centered around quality customer service. If someone is unhappy with their food for whatever reason, sanitary or not, do your job and remake it especially if the customer is being kind and simply asking. I felt this was a major inconvenience for this person and even after thanking them, they continued to be rude to me. I will be sure to escalate this to customer service and hopefully they can teach the employees a thing or two about how to speak with customers appropriately.
