I immediately fell in love with everything about this restaurant and not just because the decor is in my favorite color (green ). It's such a cute, bright, and happy place with so many yummy sounding items on their menu. I wish I knew about this place sooner but I don't really visit the Buckhead area that often. I'm praying that we get a location in East Atlanta or Midtown area because the food was absolutely amazing.
On a Sunday at 1pm there was a line out the door but the restaurant crew had a very efficient process, they went through the line asking for party size and then assigned you a table. The cashiers processed the orders very quickly and although there was a line, I didn't feel rushed when I had a few questions to ask. So you order your food at the register when you walk in (there's a menu above the registers, to the right on a wall and you also have a paper option) then take your seat and wait for a server to bring you your food. Although it was a very busy sunday, I received my food in a decent length of time with a smile.
The restaurant is colorfully and beautifully decorated that it was hard and pretty impossible to not scan every area and take everything in. I just felt so happy!
Food: -I started with crushed avocado toast with no egg. Avocado, sesame seasoning and white cheddar cheese were perfect, I only wished the toast was a little more crispy (toasted). $8 -I had cinnamon tea with no sweetener and it wasn't needed, the loose leaf tea was the perfect beverage for a cold day. $3.50 Entree included a plate with 3 items $10: sichuan green beans, roasted butternut squash, and indian spiced cauliflower. Each item was cooked perfectly and full of so much flavor. I...
Read moreI love the food here and that's why I've continued to come back. As a vegetarian, it's so convenient to be able to add deliciously flavored tofu to any dish. However, the service here is subpar. I've only dined in once and have gotten "curbside pickup" probably 3 or 4 times and delivery once. Again, the food always gets a 10/10 from me. But the communication between servers/cooks/workers is not good and it results in very slow service. Twice now, I have placed an order for curbside pickup. There are two spots there labelled 15 min parking//curbside. They have a sign to call when you arrive. We do that and TWICE now: call, talk to someone, they say they'll be right out, and we proceed to wait for 20-30 minutes...mind you - that's longer than we are technically even allowed to park in a curbside spot. Today we ended up just going inside and waiting for it and, after 10 more minutes of standing inside, someone brings out our CURBSIDE PICKUP order and sets it on the indoor pickup shelf...clearly there is not communication between whoever is answering phones/telling people their food will be right out and whoever is cooking/bagging the food. All I'm saying is don't offer curbside pickup if it's not actually managed efficiently and if your employees are not working and communicating to keep it running. The car parked in the other curbside spot was there for at least 30 minutes and was empty. Like clearly these spots are not actually being managed/used for curbside pickup orders if you're allowing people to park in them like any other spot...first world problems for sure,...
Read moreI can not express enough how incredible my experience was with Logan at Flower Child Cafe! Recently, I ordered dinner and noted my gluten intolerance, but unfortunately, the kitchen didn’t get my order right, and I ended up with a meal full of gluten. After realizing the mistake, I called the restaurant, and Logan was the one who answered.
She quickly checked my order and apologized profusely for the oversight. With the kitchen closing in just two minutes, I was worried about what would happen next. To my amazement, Logan didn’t just offer a refund; she insisted on having a brand new, gluten-free meal delivered to me. When I expressed my concern about the kitchen being closed, she said, “If they won’t bring it out to you, I’ll drive your dinner to your home.” I was absolutely blown away by her kindness and dedication!
Who actually does things like this for complete strangers after working all day? Logan does.
She drove my dinner to my home, which is quite a distance from the restaurant. This level of service is unheard of, and I am so grateful for her generosity! When we tried to tip her for her effort, she graciously refused, which only highlighted her genuine nature.
To Flower Child Cafe Corporate: If you’re reading this, I STRONGLY recommend promoting Logan. She is an incredible asset to your team, and her dedication to customer service is unmatched.
Thank you, Logan, for going above and beyond and for being such a wonderful person. You are a true gift to your restaurant and the...
