I cannot comment on the baked goods because I did not order any. However, I ordered a coffee. I asked for and was charged for a large iced latte with a shot of caramel. When it was served, it looked like it was in a regular cup. I asked if it was a large and the barista said "no, is it supposed to be" (never mind it was plainly visible on the ticket with the drink). I said yes. The barista took the drink and proceeded to poor it in a large cup and fill the rest with milk. I asked for a fresh drink because now it is just going to taste like milk. The barista said that is how they make their larges. So DO NOT pay extra for the large because half of the cup is filled with milk. It tasted like caramel flavored milk. I could not even taste the espresso. I took it back for a refund which they did give me. The person working the register was nice but barista was a little on the rude side and very unfriendly Will not be back- too many other options to waste money on bad product and...
Read moreThis place is unbelievable. From the outside it looks like your average, run of the mill, nothing special coffee shop. Come to find out, this place is home to the most amazing, spectacular, buttery, golden, flaky, delicious croissant on the face of this planet. I know what you’re thinking… This uncultured man has clearly never been to France, the birthplace of the croissant. WRONG. It’s better than any croissant you’ll find in France. You will not find A better croissant, point blank period. Not in France and not anywhere in this world. It doesn’t matter what type you get. Get the chocolate. Get the plain. Get the ham & grueyere. It doesn’t matter. They’re all equally as life changing. If you have the chance, stop in, grab some coffee (which is also excellent) and do not leave without experiencing the magic that blissfully lay within the hundreds of flaky, golden layers of...
Read moreGorgeous pastries both in looks and flavor. We enjoyed four wonderful pastries. First was a perfectly delicate hibiscus meringue. The hibiscus dust provided a perfect tart balance to the sweet meringue, and the meringue itself was crisp on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. Our ham and Gruyere croissant had hundreds of buttery layers. There wasn’t a lot of ham inside, but honestly that is my preference. The frangipane tart had a flaky buttery crust and the fresh strawberries, filling and almonds all made for a wonderful, not overly sweet treat. Finally, the buckwheat chocolate chip cookie was just a delicious chocolate chip cookie that any child or adult would love. Some of the item I thought were priced high, others I thought for the quality were priced fairly. We will definitely make a return visit next time...
