Mother's Day 2023 I had an wonderful time with my beautiful daughter, Brooke, at The Three Arches restaurant inside the Hyatt @ Lennox. The energy and atmosphere were captivating, and I was particularly impressed by the stunning decor. Exploring new dining destinations is always a delight, and their special Mother's Day menu made the experience even more memorable. However, I must admit that our enjoyment was slightly dampened by the feeling of being rushed during our visit. It seemed as though we were hurried to place our orders, eat our food, and finish our meals. What struck me was that not only did my daughter and I feel this way, but other guests, especially those from the beautiful African American community, shared the same sentiment. It was disheartening to witness. I had been eagerly looking forward to the possibility of booking a lunch gathering at this establishment, but this experience has given me pause. I find myself unsure whether the rushed service was due to any form of bias or simply a result of a shift change. Regardless of the cause, it left a negative impression on me, and it did not align with the relaxing and enjoyable dining experience I had anticipated. As someone who values inclusivity and equal treatment, I believe it is important for all establishments, including restaurants, to create an atmosphere where guests can dine at their own pace and fully enjoy their meals without feeling rushed. Your attention to this feedback can serve as an opportunity to improve and ensure that every guest, regardless of their background, receives attentive and unhurried service. Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to share my honest thoughts about our experience. I sincerely hope that future visits to The Three Arches, or any other dining establishment, will surpass expectations and provide a more enjoyable and memorable experience. As an influence of restaurants, I would tell African Americans to be aware! You would think the manager would have read the room! Warm regards, Towonda...
Read moreThe hubs and I decided to have a little weekend staycation in the Atl and we had heard about Hugh’s new bar and restaurant at the Hyatt in Buckhead - so it was easy to make a plan. The design of the restaurant was super cozy fun to be in. The cocktails were incredible, I had The Prado and it was so delicious. The service was also really good - although sometimes too attentive. My husband’s drink got picked up before he was finished - twice. And for $22 a pop, that’s no fun. The food was good. Nothing truly memorable about anything we ate specifically. It was all just ok. We ordered the ribeye and asked for it to be cooked medium - and it came out blood raw - lightly seared. We had to send it back. The poutine was cold by the time the steak came back out. So that was a bummer. And the broccolini I was a little too Al dente for my taste. The flourless chocolate cake was very good - not too sweet and the ice cream paired with it was perfect. Our bill was just under $300 with tip for what felt like an underwhelming food experience. We had fun and made the best of it - but it didn’t seem worth...
Read moreOur visit to Mount Royal was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful decor, absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. I wish I could remember our servers name but she just moved here from LA and was knowledgeable even on the second night of being open. Her personality was great and she took the time to really talk to our table. Zoe, the AGM also came by and my mother had the opportunity to speak some French (which is always her fav). We are Canadian and were so excited to try the tourtière, loved that they had Labatts blue, and had to get the latkes. We had most of the appetizers and everything that we tasted was delicious, we all agreed that it’s the first time in awhile that we’ve had food that we couldn’t think of a dish that didn’t impress us. For mains, The steak was cooked beautifully and the homemade Montreal steak seasoning was killer. The three sauces we had were delicious and dessert was fantastic, we Highly recommend the tart covered in maple syrup, that syrup was high quality and I want a jug for myself. Overall I highly recommend and we will...
