Our trip to Pure Atlanta at Lenox Square on June 30, 2015, while visiting Atlanta from Ft. Washington, Maryland. My 13 year old daughter and one of her school mates attempted to enter your store and they were told that since they were not 18 years old that they could not enter the store.
Mind you, I (her father) was in the store next door to Pure Atlanta. I then entered the store and asked security, “Did you just tell my daughter that they can’t enter because they are not 18 years old”? Security said “Yes”. I asked, “Where is your sign that says you must be 18 years old to enter”? Security said, “This is what the store policy is”.
I again asked, “Where is your sign”? I then asked for a manager. Up pops “Kelly” who says that she is the manager. I then flashed Kelly my Federal Government Badge and I asked her is your store policy that you must be 18 years old or older to enter this store. Kelly said, “Yes, unless accompanied by an adult”. I then asked Kelly, “Where is your sign that states that”? Kelly then said it’s at the front door. Kelly also stated, “Because we also serve Alcoholic Beverages to Special Customers”. I said to Kelly, “So you also have a Liquor License to serve alcohol”? I asked her where was that sign? Again Kelly stated at the front door.
Well Kelly and I both walked to the front door and you know, There was “NO SUCH SIGNS POSTED ANYWHERE”. No sign that reads “18 Years or older” and No sign that reads “We serve alcohol”.
Kelly then said, “Well we must have just taken them down”. My next question to Kelly was, “Please give me one of your business cards”, my intention is to have a full investigation done on this store. However, in your window display you have mannequins of small children wearing your clothes as well as adult mannequins.
What does my 13 year old daughter and this store have to do with alcohol? My daughter came into this store to look around and purchase anything (clothes wise) that she wanted. She was not there to purchase liquor. Since when do you serve liquor to 18 year olds the legal age for drinking is 21 years old? This is a clothing store.
While yes I see on your VIP Wall that you have all pictures of Famous Black Celebrities “Ballers” but I wonder if they knew how you treated Normal Black people who could still afford a pair of $700.00 tennis shoes or a $200.00 blouse weather they would still shop in your little bouquet. We have shopped in several stores on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA and just because my daughter is not a celebrity child does not mean that she nor her father does not have just as much money to spend.
So while you are so busy faking that you are a Top Flight Store, face it, all you really care about is the Ballers coming into your business spending money. You really don’t want these Black people in your store, but without their money your little bouquet would shut down.
I’m posting this on your reviews page and will post this on Social Media just to let people know that your store is just as fake as you are. You don’t really except us, (Black people) but you need our money.
I hope that any Black person that reads this NEVER STEPS FOOT into your little...
Read moreI was doing my daily shopping fix and I stubble upon Pure Atlanta! I was fascinated on the layout of the store as well as the variety of brands they carry. What caught my eyes were Robin Jeans, MCM, Balmain, Coogi, PRPS, Tom Ford, Michael Kors, and True Religion- just to name a few. Upon stepping into the store, you will be greeted by the employees who were happy to help you. I felt like I was treated like a celebrity (which I saw some rappers and NFL players in there while I was shopping. Probably the whole team. What!!!! NBD).
During your shopping experience, you will enjoy the upbeat music that they have playing while sipping on some bubbly. This is definitely a place you need to stop by if you're ever in Atlanta! I came here not knowing anything about the store to leaving the store really satisfieddoing my happy dance! I bought some Dita shades(that I wear constantly), Marc Jacob/Fendi/Hugo Boss kids clothes for my nephew, MCM backpack and some Balmain pants for my boyfriend. You got to come here for some luxury quality women's and men's clothing/accessories.
Pure Atlanta is located upstairs right next to Neiman Marcus on the luxury wing....
Read moreBeen a customer for a while now, had purchased pair of shoes, they looked like they came from WW2 that’s how bad they were, I was so heated I complained about getting my refund even though against policy which I totally respect that, but these were so beat up and nasty they were considered defective, I reached out to Elena who’s been assisting me and helping me out with most my purchases, she’s a miracle worker who came through and kept her word, kept it professional and straightened things right. I highly recommend Pure Atlanta for everyone, grown men, woman, and kids, my son has autism and Elena is always helping me pick out his outfits because he loves his billionaire boys club line. Thanks again Atlanta, we’ll be...
