Ok, we went for brunch, the food is really good but there are poor vegetarian options for brunch. You won't get any vegetarian options until 6pm for dinner on Sunday. The service on the restaurant (not the rooftop) is really good and the brunch as well, and well served (as long as you are not vegetarian). Here are my cons: the watermelon mimosas were $6-$8usd on the restaurant which is fair but as soon as you go to the rooftop they cost you $17usd each which is absolutely ridiculously expensive vs what I paid downstairs... (And you are not even getting anything fancy brand the bubbles...)And the music, the DJ plays really good music on the rooftop but unfortunately it is barely impossible to not scream at the person next to you to have a conversation; which make it so unpleasant on a Sunday (If you are still facing a hangover from Saturday, this is a no no for a brunch, the music on the rooftop is so loud it will drive you nuts, so you better stay downstairs to avoid any headache) the only decent area when you can have a conversation on the rooftop is on the deck but if it I so damn hot and sunny outside, you better wear sunglasses and sunscreen like you were in the beach..I strongly recommend the rooftop to purchase some umbrellas (it is peanuts for you and so cheap to get from the $17usd you charge for the watermelon mimosas on the rooftop that is a no brainer). I definitely will come back for a brunch downstairs at the restaurant but forget about the rooftop unless you are willing to be there just for the fancy photos or without ordering any damn...
Read moreTL;DR This place is great for vibes, the view, people watching, and drinks. Given where and what this place is, i was pleasantly surprised at how good the drinks were at the price point
The food and service left something to be desired. If you plan to eat here, you might be disappointed. But, i don't think that's what it is for, and I'm a little surprised this place opens at early at it does on Fridays. Our server was fine, but I was disappointed to find that gratuity was included in the tab for our party of two.
My sweetie and i went looking for a drink and a snack after a day at the art museum, and this seemed like a good spot for that. The drinks were good. We ordered croquettes and salmon skins. They mixed up our order and brought us a margarita flat bread as well, but we were hungry enough to keep it (to their credit, they offered to comp it). The croquettes were refrigerator-cold, the salmon skins seemed stale and over spiced, and the flat bread was just a garlic fest. If that's your thing you might be happy, but i think you'd be better off just eating garlic cloves.
That might sound like a review that would earn less than three stars, but really i think the problem for me is that this place was open at five. The staff didn't really seem prepared for that. This seems like a place to dance, drink, and impress a date, not so much a place for a post...
Read moreThe scenery & vibe was nice! Over priced like crazy! We were charged GRATUITY for two people, which is ridiculous & it doesn’t say that on the menu any where, nor did the lady tell us that when you order. It took 25+ minutes to get our drink order taken & 20 mins to get the drinks we ordered. It wasn’t crazy packed at that time. She did tell us the kitchen was behind, when we ordered, so it to 25 mins for fries. The fries were tasty, hot & fresh. However, I don’t like being told at the end that gratuity was added to my check for two people. That’s something you tell me BEFORE I order, I don’t like that. They knew what they were doing because they know some people won’t order anything. Give me the option to tip, which I would’ve. We paid almost $80 for 3 drinks & fries. I’ll come again, but I won’t be ordering, only for the scenery & vibes. Also, Parking in colony square garage was $30 for a couple of hrs., you won’t know until you leave because there aren’t signs any...
