W XYZ Bar — Restaurant in Atlanta

This is a wonderful hotel bar in the lobby of Aloft Atlanta. The food is quite tasty, not extraordinary, but better than your average pub. The atmosphere, service, and drinks are quite good, and overall it's worth a visit if you're lodging.

The bar itself is not that big: there's less than ten seats in the bar. The lounge area is much bigger, and it even has access to the outside pool area.

While they have a limited selection of beers on tap, wine and cocktails are quite good, and definitely their strong point.

Only ordered alcoholic beverages at WXYZ bar and both my friends and I were charged a "food tax". Upon inquiring the bartender agreed that it shouldn't have been included but couldn't do anything about it and that we should take it up with management the NEXT day.
