My visit: Juneteenth Holiday

My order: • Sexy Strawberry Salad • Asiago Cheese replacement: Cheddar (slice) • Add-on: Jerk Lemon Pepper Tuna

Pros: • Family-friendly • Patient and Accommodating staff with great attitude: Lena went above and beyond to create my custom order and make two-year old nephew feel included and independent in receiving his order; great sense of humor while being professional, too. • Robust flavoring of Jerk Lemon Pepper Tuna • Beautiful plating • Healthy "large" portion • Salad dressing served on the side • Fresh mixed salad, including Spinach • Strawberries were ripe and flavorful • Cheddar Cheese slice was hand-crumbled • Staff suggested and followed through with plating for dine-in and then for take-out • Colony Square security officers ordered from and then recommended menu items as regulars • Prompt service: I was 5th in line and my food was ready within 10 minutes.

Cons: • Zero Pastrami left "due to the holiday" • The POS quickly overrode the tip option (so frustrating when the staff clearly earns it but customers like myself traveled cashless, as most Colony Square food court restaurants demand–I would like to see a tip-only option for those circumstances.) • I would have enjoyed a bit more bite and spiciness in Jerk Lemon Pepper Tuna • It would have been ideal to receive a "Happy Juneteenth" holiday acknowledgement

My family and I will return! I caution: only one scoop of Jerk Lemon Pepper Tuna may not enough. While I like even deeper flavors, it was still delicious! Hopefully there will be pastrami...

I have actually visited this establishment at Politan Row in Colony Square twice. The first experience was GREAT! I cant recall the older woman by name but she was short in stature and sweet as pie. Service and food exceptional. Which prompted me to revisit. The second visit not so great. I had the displeasure of meeting the back of the owner's neck and waist beads, who never turned around to acknowledge me as I politely called her name and wanted to discuss a business opportunity with her upon visiting the booth yesterday. She spoke to me as her back was turned and never looked up from what she was doing. Her son who was on the register was very kind. I could see that she was busy, however Alisha was extremely dismissive, rude, and unprofessional in the way she never turned around when I addressed her by her name. Her demeanor was nice-ty. Her tone while yelling customers by name upon their order being ready opposed to simply calling out numbers was aggressive and ghetto. After spending almost $70.00 on 2 sandwiches and 2 deserts I think an acknowledgement to the patrons of the business is warranted. I was taken a back by how nasty her disposition was. Word of advice you never know who your can network with. A positive demeanor and great attitude go a long way. In this case it did not work for Alisha. Absolutely Incredible Food & Customer Service!

Zaddy’s in Atlanta has officially won me over — I’m a forever customer! I recently placed an online delivery order for their Grilled Balsamic Veggie Sandwich (which is AMAZING by the way — packed with flavor and grilled to perfection) along with the Grilled Chicken Caesar Sandwich. Unfortunately, they had just run out of chicken.

But instead of just canceling or substituting without notice (like some places do), they called me immediately to let me know. The owner herself explained the situation and gave me multiple options: cancel, choose something else, or wait about an hour while they prepped fresh chicken. I decided to wait because honestly, the food is that good and I had my heart set on those sandwiches.

Not only did she keep me updated every step of the way, but once the chicken was ready, she personally let me know I could place my order again. She was super kind and apologetic — and even threw in a free dessert for the inconvenience.

The food was more than worth the short wait. Both sandwiches were phenomenal, and the attention to detail and customer care was top-notch.

It’s rare to find a spot with both amazing food and outstanding service, but Zaddy’s has it all....
