Stay away from this place, save yourself lot of time and save yourself from some embarrassment.

Fell for the reviews, and 6 of us ( 2 kids ) in a group landed around 10PM at this shady and horrible place. Least courteous restaurant we've ever been to. Does not even honor your place in the line unless you speak spanish.

To start with, there was water dripping from floors above even before we entered the door. Not any better inside as well. In spite of all the red flags, We were hopeful from the reviews that the food was going to be alright. Moreover Kids were hungry and we were too tired to turn back from being in the sun all day. People who came after us and phone orders which came after we put in our order were being served and prioritized ahead of ours for some strange reason. 30 minutes after our order, they did not even pickup our order ticket and kept shuffling in newer tickets. When we ask, the lady claims it to be a busy place and asks if we want to cancel our order. We patiently waited for 15 more minutes and finally had to cancel the order. We were third in the line when we ordered and stayed third in the line after a 45 minutes, while the group which came in after us were able to add to their order several times.

The lady taking the order just thinks the customers are...

I They always say never judge a book by its cover and I would say similar thing never judge food or food place by its location. This place is hidden gem of restaurant or eatery in the Atlantic city. We found this place by chance as we wanted to try something Mexican and ended up here.

Food is so much good. Burritos were freshly made may be of corn flour. And you can see them cooked right in front of your eyes. You can also see ingridents like tomato or onion freshly cut and then going it in your dishes. Quesadilla made right with you looking and filled with your choices of stuffing. Served hot with sauces. The one sause which i specially want to mention is that green sause they give you with your order - its little hot or spicy and taste yummy.

Place is little hard to locate if your eyes not searching for them from your vehicle as we moved ahead and came walking from parking. Parking may be difficult to find so best is park in open lot next to caSear or parking building and walk here. Service was prompt and to our surprise lady refused our tip politely and only charged us for what we ordered. Do visit once if you...

finding that this is one of the restaurants that is in the top 10 of Atlantic City, we had to try it out. We were not disappointed with the quality food in fact budgeting ourselves for our vacation we decided to split a meal of three tacos, as we had many other places to try out however the server actually brought us for tacos understanding what we were doing and trying to make our visit a much better one. The food is not pre-made,so expect to wait for your food, but also expect for your food to come out fresh and delicious! your choices are to sit at the counter or sit in one of the seats available, although there are not a lot of seats here so I can see this place filling up during a good lunch for good dinner hour. normally I would not mention any other businesses in my reviews however this is right next to the Whitehouse Sub Shop. So if you don't get in the area often, you might want to split a lunch between both locations as both are excellent places to eat or maybe you're not sure which food you like to eat this way you can go to one area and decide on two...

Came here for the first time with a friend. We ordered a plato & a drink each. He, the vegetarian burrito & a Jarrito, whilst I had 3 al pastor tacos & an (in-house) agua de tamarindo. The tamarind drink was quite good; well balanced tart & sweetness that wasn't too watered down. The tacos were better than average. The meat & pineapple were grilled with some char to them. IMO they were under seasoned but that may just be me. Each taco came with 2 tortillas so in actuality it felt like I got 6 tacos instead of 3 (see pic). The establishment has table as well as counter seating. Layout resembles that of a diner. It was about 20% filled when I was there, both with non-Spanish & Spanish speaking patrons (which I suppose is a good sign?). Service was friendly without being overbearing. All in all, a homely diner-like atmosphere for Mexican food at reasonable prices.

We heard they were good but our experience here was not the best. First no one came to take our order so we had to go order it up front. We ordered Chips and salsa and we got this (see attached picture), they were cold, and not tasty which was a disappointment because I really thought their tortillas were homemade. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla with everything. It did not tasted like anything. I added salt and salsa and honestly it tasted even worse. It also was supposed to have sour cream and it did not. We also got enchiladas al pastor. Meat tasted a little bit but it wasn't that delicious. Maybe on another day the taste will be better but for us, the food had no taste and experience was not good. So we are not visiting again unfortunately.

Authentic and delicious! Some might refer to this place as a "hole in the wall" but remember that such places are often the best! Unassuming and unpretentious, it appears that everything is made in house, including the tortillas. Everything is prepared right in front of you; there are maybe 5 or 6 4-person booths and 7 or 8 seats at a counter. We had enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, and a burrito. On our last visit, a couple of AC policemen were in there having a meal -- which should tell you something -- if the police go there to eat after getting off duty, it's got to be excellent! Pancho's is located in AC's Ducktown neighborhood, next door to the iconic white house sub shop, and around the corner from Angelo's. Great food!
