Burrito Factory — Restaurant in Austin

This is my favorite place to grab lunch when I'm on campus. The location is pretty dreary, but it's some of the best Tex-Mex for miles around. The ingredients are fresh, the prices are fair and the staff are truly wonderful. I've never seen a place so small handle a lunch rush so big with such efficiency, professionalism and grace. The guys making food there are friendly and funny--one of them has an amazing memory for customers' usual orders, and routinely remembers mine even after I've not been there for months. As for the food, anything with pastor (a mixture of pork and beef) is bound to be delicious. My favorites are their burritos and tortas. I was at UT for 5 years and this was my favorite place to eat. I would go there so much the owner would know my order as soon as he saw me. We had great conversations and the food tasted like home. He’s from Michoacán so he knows what he’s doing and loves it. Please support any chance you get. My order was always a plate of enchiladas with the mild sauce and a agua fresca de horchata.
