FYI no outlets or Wi-Fi here and wooden tables that are not necessarily comfortable
Keep in mind this is a Mediterranean franchise with all kinds of healthy food options and drinks to go that are hard to find these days.
Across from the Littlefield building which houses investment firms, start up tech capital company bases of operation, and more on the upper floors which gets lots of people walkong over here daily thru 10pm!
The Capital one point itself is a corner with tables, wifi, outlets, and a calm environment people walk in to work from and relax if you need that after eating here.
Restrooms are new age looking , well maintained and kept clean as they try to balance the occasional visit from the homeless which are around every corner of this area panhandling at all hours of the morning, day, and night.
High traffic and all kinds of crazy things and people will you see if you stick around long enough.
Very hospitable customer service here but keep in mind rarely have the time or energy left to talk with you as it's a subway kind of model where everything is fast and furious.
Been supporting occasional IT clients in this area for over ten years so very familiar with all the businesses up and down Congress fyi!
Parking forget about it! (Best to figure out a ride to this area or a day pass deal under $20 at a garage and walk to this area, what few public paid parking meter spots remain within walking distance I would not trust in this area fyi I warned you.)
A word of advice: What with strict towing , parking tickets, theft, people on foot walking I. Front of vehicles not in their right mind, and all the scooters and bicycle folk that will pop out of nowhere be careful getting in and out of this busy high traffic area...
Read moreI’ve now had three frustrating experiences at this location, and each time I’ve given it the benefit of the doubt - but this last visit was the final straw. I placed my order online and arrived 40 minutes later, only to find my food hadn’t even started being prepared. This isn’t a one-off - this location consistently fails to complete online orders on time, and there seems to be no system or urgency in how online orders are handled once customers arrive. Whether this is a management issue, a staffing shortage, or a lack of training, something is clearly broken. If the store can’t handle online orders during busy periods, then block online orders or set realistic prep times. This kind of disorganization points to a serious need for process improvement - potentially someone from corporate needs to evaluate and step in. To make things worse, the customer service was completely unhelpful. I requested a refund after waiting with no progress on my order, and was ignored until I got vocal. Only then did the manager get involved - and instead of resolving the issue, I was told I had to request the refund online, something that could have easily been communicated 10 minutes earlier. So after waiting nearly an hour, I left with no food, no refund, and no accountability. Completely unacceptable. Unless I hear that management has changed or this location has undergone serious improvements, I will not be returning. Right now, this store is a reflection of poor leadership, inefficient systems, and inadequate customer service - and it needs...
Read moreAs a loyal customer, I typically order from CAVA Congress location at least twice a week. Given the proximity to my workplace, I frequently place large delivery orders, often multiple bowls at once, for my leadership team meetings. Due to the demanding nature of my role, I usually rely on delivery, but today was a rare slower day, so I chose to visit the location in person for a change. Unfortunately, this decision turned out to be a regrettable one. The customer service I received from two of your employees, Jay and Lilly, was unacceptable. Both displayed visible attitude, were noticeably unwelcoming, and to my dismay, even discussed me negatively with other team members while I was still at the counter. This level of unprofessionalism was not only disappointing, but downright disrespectful. As an Assistant General Manager of a luxury hotel just two blocks away, I am deeply familiar with the importance of guest service and professionalism and what I experienced today was the opposite. I will not be returning to this location, nor will I recommend it to any of my colleagues or guests moving forward. I expect to be contacted directly by a member of your management team to address this situation and make it right. I will also be emailing corporate directly as I know most reviews only reach line...
