This is my new breakfast spot for when my family comes into town to visit me! I’m so glad I found out that not only do they sell the most delicious burgers and curly fries in Austin, but that they also become a breakfast diner in the mornings. I brought my family here while they were in town and they too absolutely loved it! It’s a “seat yourself” vibe as you enter. The server quickly greeted us and took our drink order. We checked out the menu and were pleasantly surprised at all of their options. I ended up ordering a #3 which is three eggs and bacon and you get two sides with it. I ordered some hashbrowns and biscuits. The key to the biscuits is you have to order them toasted so they split it in half and grill it with some butter. They come out so perfectly crispy! My family member also ordered their pancake breakfast which the pancakes are so huge they could not finish it on their own. I helped them with a couple bites and the pancakes are so perfectly cooked and delicious! The best part is that the prices are very affordable and fair for the meal portions. It does not feel overpriced and you walk out feeling very fulfilled. I highly recommend Dans for all your breakfast and...

I'd been hearing about Dan's since the moment I arrived in Austin last July. Everyone, and I mean literally everyone said it was the best burger they'd ever had. Thinking that nothing could be better than a certain Texas-based burger chain, I tried it last night. And it was awesome. I wouldn't say that it's better than that burger chain, which will continue to be my favorite, but it is a really close second.

The portions are, to say the least, HUGE. Seriously, I went in for a large cheeseburger and a large order of curly fries, thinking they would give me the standard sizes. I was very wrong about this. The fries alone could have been a meal on their own, and the burger was a whopper at 1/3 lb. I was pretty satisfied at the end of my meal.

You'd think that this would have cost $10 or more, but I got it all for under $8. My favorite burger place would have charged me at least $10 for what I got at Dan's, so I will definitely put Dan's in my...

WOW!!!! BEST. BURGER. EVER. Excellent fries, OUTSTANDING Onion Rings! Great Price! Great Service! Not too busy, no long lines, no hassles, no wait! The place was clean, great atmosphere, and all the booths and even the counter have outlets to plug in your devices! The receipt has a printed code on it for the lock on the restroom door keypad entry, and your order taker circles it with a pen, and let's you know it's there. There are a LOT OF HOMELESS people in the area, but the property is still clean, no panhadlers, no litter, nobody messing with you. (and I'm not disparaging the unhoused here, cause I'm one of them. I just choose to spend my 20 bucks on some great food, instead of drugs and alcohol!) When it comes to burger joints in Austin, Dan's the Man, in my humble opinion! You could spend more for a different style of Hipster burger, but you won't get better, fresher, tastier, or more satisfaction. C'mon, it A BURGER! EAT...

Dan's Hamburgers is a total gem! I've always walked past it on my way to McDonald's, wondering why anyone would choose this place. But let me tell you, I was missing out! The moment I stepped inside, I was transported back to a classic 50s diner. The cool decor and friendly staff immediately put a smile on my face. And the food? Wow! The burgers are way better than anything you'll find at a fast-food chain. They're juicy, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients. But what truly sets Dan's apart is the community vibe. The regulars are incredibly kind and often share their food with each other. It's heartwarming to see people coming together over delicious burgers. If you're looking for a great meal and a unique Austin experience, I highly recommend giving Dan's Hamburgers a try. You won't be disappointed!

Saturday about 11am. An early lunch. They were pretty busy, but with 2 registers open, the line moved very quickly. I got a small cheeseburger with mayo instead of mustard, and added bacon and Hickory sauce, with a side of onion rings, and a lemonade/Sprite. They were on their game! The burger was hot and tasty, the rings were fresh and crisp and crunchy on the outside; soft and oniony on the inside. While busy, the dining room was clean, and open tables were ready and waiting. The staff that we interacted with were pleasant and patient, given the rush hour. Looking forward to our next visit!
