Dirtiest and least kept up P.Terry's I've experienced. And my family loves this restaurant chain! In fact, I left a glowing review of another location just a couple of weeks ago. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell and wet (but not clean) floors with the yellow signs up. I asked the staff if they had a water leak or something, and he said no, they just mopped. The floor has stuff on it, so it wasn't clean. I didn't believe this (what cleaner did they mop with?). It almost seemed like the toilets overflowed or something. If I was not desperately needing to feed my family before going somewhere, I would have walked away. But we stayed. I hope the food quality was better than the environment..... The counter next to the soda fountain was also wet and stuff scattered around (see picture). What a terrible location of a great Austin brand. If this had been my first P. Terry's experience, I would have never come back.

Day 4 of jury duty and I decided to go eat at p. Terry's. Been eating p Terry's since at least 2012 so I'm familiar with their menu. This location is accessible by the front of the street or an alley. Parking is available but limited. Inside is the traditional aesthetic and very clean and simple. The drink station's a little large compared to other locations but it looks like it's preexisting but it also looks like it's very empty. Maybe some signage to cover up this area or a picture? Ordered a double cheeseburger combo. No special sauce for me. Not a fan but I also haven't had it in a long time so I don't remember. Honestly I just like mustard cuz it's less calories. Always get the rice crispy and then upgrade the lemonade to a large. Pea Terry's does do free refills so that's nice. Overall normal experience and what do you hear again.

I've enjoyed P. Terry's since 2006 when I first moved to Austin. If you think In-and-out is good, P.Terry's is way better. The fries are actually good. The price has gone up since the early 2000s but it's still a bargain. Burgers are not gourmet, it's still fast food, but it's good. For the price it's delicious, and the fries are amazing. If you are like me, you may want to add salt, as they aren't overly seasoned like most fast food fries, so just do it to taste. I have a slight nostalgia bias, but you shouldn't be disappointed. There is a good reason why they have grown so much since their humble beginnings!

Taco Ranch, it pains me to do this but it's beyond anything I've experienced anywhere, ever.

When I drove up and was just starting to take a look at the menu, I was greeted by a younger lady over the mic, of which you could tell was frazzled.

After waiting about 15 min behind two cars, I was then greeted by the same person, of which then proceeded to scream the "f" word at the top of her lungs inside the restaurant and let me tell you, it was shockingly unprofessional.

I get my food, which on a side note, to get my burrito to taste good by any means, I ended up paying about $5.50 per burrito (I got two).

So, I was willing to put everything behind me for some careless mistake, but I bite in, and from the bottom to the top, every rice kernel I tried to chew, was rock hard. However, it was very good otherwise, which really bummed me out. I had spent 14$ in total, for two burritos that were not even edible.

I usually don't go back, but I was still nearby so I went back. I explained the situation, of which I got sort of a snarky response, but got the two replacement burritos, this time with better rice apparently.

Well, I got in return, two bean burritos, which some rice thrown in sparingly, no cheese of any kind, no sour cream, and I mean the smallest amount of chicken/beef/veggie crumb in it that essentially it was just a huge bean burrito... for $14... and it tasted like garbage.

I spent about 25 min in total, just to get 4 burritos that either, were inedible, or tasted like sh..

It pains me to say this P. Terry, as I loved the idea, and the burger stands you have are still one of my favorite stops when I feel a burger crave, but taco ranch has been a bust from the start.

If you didn't realize that people like more than beef/cheese/veggiecrumble (whatever that is), beans, cheese and some apparent sauce, of which I have never tasted, that; A. Burritos need something else in it to taste good, (not be optional like the rice is) B. Have options that are more complete and taste good without having to alter it (queso already replacing the cheese, sour cream, SOMETHING LIKE ONIONS OR A CRUNCHY INGREDIENT THAT WOULD MAKE LESS LIKE MUSH, creamy jalapeno in it) BECAUSE C. People don't enjoy having to come up with a customized order so complicated, just for it to taste good, that when you end up leaving, you're spending $14 on two damn bean burrtios that are inconsistent.

The way McDonalds/Starbucks got to be as big as they are, is because of consistency.

Goodbye Taco Ranch, I was hoping to have Taco C and its unique shell of a building, replaced by a competitor that could subside my fairly priced Mexican drive-thru food desire, but just as the service and food I received before, I will avoid it now.

Ok, maybe I'll get a maine root soda, those are good. The food though, just simply put, inst that good. I've gone a few times and tried everything, it's just all really really bland.

I don't give 1-star reviews unless they honestly deserve it, but I felt compelled to share my experience, in hopes they do fix it. I hope the best for the company, and hope they...

I visited this location for lunch today with a co-worker. We ordered our food, was never asked if it was the sandwich only or the combo. We received our food and there were no fries. So we asked about the fries. The cashier at the window and the drive thru speaker both stated, your order was repeated back to you and you ok'ed it. Sure, yes, under the assumption, because we ordered drinks, that we were getting COMBOS. (WE ORDERED DRINKS, THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A CLUE) however, to our dismay, it was not an obvious request. IF THE MENU GIVES THE CUSTOMER AN OPTION OF SANDWICH ONLY OR COMBO, PART OF YOUR JOB SHOULD BE TO ASK THEM TO BE SPECIFIC...YOU COULD BE LOSING YOUR COMPANY MONEY BY BEING BASIC AND NOT ASKING QUESTIONS OR OFFERING UPGRADES FOR THE COMBOS!! When I called to speak with a manager, the girl on the phone stated manager was not there and that she was the "Lead", so when I asked her to whom was I speaking to, she then asked me how she could help? I asked her name so I would know who I was speaking to and she stated she didn't have to give me her name. So I explained she was not willing to giver her name so when I do get in touch with corporate and/or manager or owner, she doesn't want to get held accountable for this issue. Lesson learned...we, as consumers, have to be and do more than the employees to ensure we are expressing and confirming exactly what is being offered and ordered and to what we want. The lack of customer service in this generation is...

Stopped in for an early morning breakfast, since this place is very close to my work. I used the drive through, which was prompt and easy to hear, but was a little difficult to SEE at 6:30 AM. Luckily breakfast tacos are a no-brainer to order. I also ordered chips and salsa.

Tacos were both good. Bacon egg and cheese was the highlight, very tasty and nice quality bacon. The potato egg and cheese was a little under-seasoned, so I added some salt and it was fine. If I had to give a point to improve on, I'd say the eggs were a tad overcooked, but that's really up to taste.

My reason for the lack of 2 stars is because the salsa I ordered with the chips is VERY watery. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting it on a taco it was so thin, and I basically couldn't eat it unless I wanted to drink it. The tiny container of fire roasted salsa I was given with the taco and the verde salsa were both fine, this was the less spicy fresca style salsa that was too thin. The flavor was nice (what I could eat) so it's a shame that it didn't work out.

Service was excellent, the person at the window was very pleasant so early in the morning. Prices are right on target, maybe a tad cheaper than other places...
