I was in the area and had the taste for some fried chicken. This was my first time here so I figured I'd give it a try. This was my first time and last time here. All the food in here looks dried up like its been sitting all day. Im asking the worker behind the counter questions about getting some freshly cooked chicken and he seems to be agitated and has an attitude. I tried my luck with the baked chicken because it would've been a 10-15 wait for the fried chicken wings and I didnt have time to wait. The baked chicken and western fries were not to my standards. I ate what I could and threw the rest in the trash. If your gut instinct tell you not to do something, listen to it and don't do it.

Great take out spot. Food is delicious and the variety is really nice. I do recommend calling in an order vs just going to wait during peak hours. I added pictures of the current menu and pricing as of april 2024. that is one of the hardest things to find is the menu and pricing since this is an old school take out joint with little internet presence.

This is a great local mom and pop shop. Tony the owner is very nice. Seriously some of the best fried catfish I have had in my life. Fresh fried, incredibly moist, you must order them. Fried chicken wings were good too. Great portions. Overall fantastic value.

Unfortunately I had to rate this experience in order to post. This place would get no stars from me.

Stop in today 5/24 to pick up something to eat. My daughter loves chicken so we stop in from time to time. Not to mention I grew up in the neighborhood. The man taking orders was waiting on a customer. I stood in line with my 5 year old daughter. If any of you have kids you know that they have to use the bathroom at the most inconvenient time.

I waiting as patiently as I could before my daughter started to shake and convulse because in that moment she needed to use the bathroom extremely bad. I said excuse me to the young man in the back who was cleaning up. He may have not of heard me. I had every intention to buy something. I continued to say excuse me.

The order taker not once asked for one of the young men in the back to assist me. He then walks over with the young lady who he was waiting on. As I continue to say excuse he proceeds to tell me wait my turn. I say I will make a purchase however my daughter has to use the bathroom. The lady he was waiting on was like the child has to use the bathroom.

He reluctantly gives me the key. As we rush to the bathroom we have already waited as long as she could have to hold it. We enter the restroom there is no toilet paper no soap. I ask her please try to hold it a little longer while i get toilet paper. I knock on the door leading to the kitchen area no one answers.

I then go to the counter. I ask the young man in the back for toilet paper he say he has it.The waiter continues to tell me i should wait my turn. I am beyond frustrated at this time. To have to endure this kind of treatment is beyond ridiculous.

By this time i throw the keys and walk out. To assume all individuals are like most that you serve in the community is sheer distasteful. I will never revisit this restaurant. Poor...

I was very hesitant to pick up something here just because of the location. I figured I would give it a chance because some of the best places tend to be the hole in the walls that you would never expect to have great grub. I walked in and asked the woman at the register what she would recommend that I get because this was my first time eating here. I told her I wanted some kind of sandwich. She immediately lit up and suggested the steak and cheese with a slice of cheesecake. After 10 short minutes of waiting I got my food and headed out the door. As soon as I opened the cheesesteak I noticed it didn’t have the usual juicy appearance a good cheesesteak has. You know when the grease is dripping around the steak and the cheese is so melted it’s oozing on the foil? I took my first bite a low and behold it was very bland. The tomato’s and lettuce weren’t fresh and the steak was 100 percent out of a steak-ums box. The cheesesteak was extremely disappointing. However.... what saved this review was the cheesecake. The cheesecake had a nice soft crust that broke apart extremely easily with every dip of the fork. It almost melted in your mouth and had your saliva glands jumping. I would return specifically for the cheesecake, and to possibly see if there was something else on the menu this place was known for that could give this review a...
