Chili's always seemed to be a place where the food, drinks, and even the atmosphere are consistent on a positive level. Well, not at this location on 3/25. Unbelievably disappointed in our experience. Arrived around 7:00pm and had wait time of about 15 mins which was expected. We were seated and greeted shortly after by our server. We ordered a soda, a couple waters, and an adult beverage along with a triple dipper appetizer. The soda and waters came out within a few minutes and we ordered our entrees which were the 2 for 25$ both 6oz steaks and the chicken & steak fajitas. So far so good. The appetizer was to follow about 10 mins later. I feel they skimped us on a few chickens crispers ( we doubled up on) and they just didn't have the right texture compared to previous ones we have ordered. And the chips were cold and had no seasoning. Server came and checked on us and I asked about the margarita that was ordered. She says she'll go check. This is the last time we will see her until after the check is paid for. Salads follow. We are now 30 mins after being seated. At the 31 minute mark the fajitas are being placed on the table. No sizzle!!! What??? Ok I guess. The chicken was a little rubbery. Within another minute the steaks are now being placed down next to the salad we've had about a min to try and consume. I look up as the food runner asks if there was anything else and she is CHEWING FOOD!!!! She is straight up eating while running food to us. I ask about the margarita again and she says she will check. š¤. We cut in to our steaks and they are rare. Very rare. I don't mind rare so much but the other patron did and since we both asked for medium this was unreal. I tried flagging down a server. Any server for a couple minutes. Finally just got up and went and got the manager. He came table side about 5 mins later. Explained the whole situation. Here we are 45 mins after ordering a drink and still no drink, no refills, food runner eating at our table side, food is wrong, and we haven't seen our server. He offered to comp the chips and salsa, our soda, and the steaks. He even offered to remake them. We declined. Never received the margarita. We got the bill and the chips and salsa were still on there. I used my login and got them for free anyway. When it rains it pours they say. Well this experience was the perfect example. I don't think we will return to this location. Management did what management is supposed to but the rest of the staff needs some...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreApparently Chili's has changed their ingredients and how they prepare, represent and serve their foods. I grew up on Chili's in Florida, even visited this particular location just prior to the Covid pandemic, a few times. The chili con queso had a sour taste, was actually was kinda disgusting. My husband ordered the mix and match trio fajitas. It didn't come out, like it normally would in the past, on a hot plate sizzling, with a very familiar tasty smell, everything was put onto a normal long dished plate, overcooked (chicken, shrimp and steak all rubbery, cold and well was subpar to say the least. I ordered, the crispy cripers chicken strips (which were always my favorite growing up). They were very tiny, over cooked and had absolutely no flavor. I stuck with the original sides, corn on the cob (which used to be delicious) it was grotesque and fries, which had no flavor and cold. My children's meals weren't even close to edible. One got the Cheesy chicken pasta, it had like a spoonful of alfredo sauce on it (penne pasta which was undercooked) and 3, very very thin strips of chicken breast cut on top, obviously from a full piece, and there was absolutely no cheese on top. She also ordered the corn on the cob, took one bite and said it was disgusting. My other child got the cheese burger bites, the meat was so overcooked it was like a brick, she could hardly bite into it and the cheese wasn't melted and they were extremely cold, her side was fries, also cold, no flavor and an extra side on addition of mandarins (not recived) All in all, my disappointment is apparent! I will never go there again. One thing I can say, is our waiter was "good" and the atmosphere was clean. Otherwise, never, ever again will I drive 50+ miles to revisit a childhood favorite and NEVER step foot into this particular location again. I don't know if it was the particular location we visited or the overall changes in Chili's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell our experience was not a good one. This is our favorite place to eat. The service was excellent yesterday. But the food was really unacceptable. My wife ordered a ribeye steak, when they brought it to our table it looks good, but when we cut into it you could tell from the texture of the meat that this was not a steak especially not a ribeye. We didn't say anything. We did get to go boxes for our food brought it home. But further examination we could definitely tell that they had substituted pork for beef. Considering the fact the ticket for that one item was almost $20, and you actually don't receive what you should have is a little disconcerting. This will still be our favorite place to dine in our town, but we will not accept this kind of food substitute again. On one other occasion I ordered my favorite the shrimp pasta. When I took a bite of the shrimp, it had more of a fishy taste to it than normal. After leaving the restaurant I didn't get more than a half a mile away and I had to vomit it back up. I called back to the restaurant mainly to let them know please don't serve the shrimp too anyone else it could be bad. I was told to call back and ask for the manager and talk to them about it. I did not. I just wished they could do better, because it is our favorite...
