When I got there, the app wouldn't let me check in and the dine in area was shut down leading to go through the drive through in order to pick up my order. There was no order in queue for me since the app wouldn't let me check in so I had to repeatedly try the app, force close it, turn on my airplane mode and turn it off and then try again. After a few minutes of that, it finally went through.
Once they were finally able to see my order, I was informed that the custard machine was not working so they told me to process a refund through the app for the items I could not receive. They've told me that before but there is absolutely no option for it so now I'm out the portion of the previous order and now the cost for 3 more items. Since I informed them there is no option for such in the app, they had no idea what to do. Apparently they can't process an app order refund through their systems? This is a huge oversight on the app development side to not properly tie that into your POS platform.
Since they could not process a refund, they offered me one of the oreo ice cream sandwiches... That's great but I had three missing custards. We were able to agree upon replacing the custards with 1 each of those and I figured we were good at that point. I pulled up to the curb out of the drive in line so they could service the following customers.
After about 10 minutes, I received my order and went on my way to the house so my kids could eat.
That's when the real trouble was realized. Not a single burger in my order was correct... every single steak burger with cheese was made with grilled onions. One of them had mayo and tomato as well. None of my kids eat mayo, and I had to piece together burgers from my own fridge to make it work to a point my kids were ok with waiting them. My burger was wrong as well, missing both the grilled onions and the tomato, but I just dealt with it and ate it anyway.
Now, when I got home, I also found that they did not provide me with the 3 custard cookie sandwiches we had agreed upon in lieu of the custards that we couldn't receive.
At this point, I don't know that I'm going back to Freddy's and it's terrible that if I do, I absolutely have to check every detail of my order before I can even leave the parking lot.
When the location was new, we had no problems getting the order right every time. Now, every single time we go, something is wrong. I would have expected that when the location was new and backed up with long lines every day, then we would have these issues, but it's getting worse...

Read moreThis was my first time at any Freddy's in my lifetime. My sister told me how much she enjoyed the turtle sundae and thought I might enjoy it based upon my known cuisine preferences. I am known as a choicey eater, but I decided I would try it. I joined the line with approximately 4 cars in front of me. It took me approximately 30 minutes to get to the window. All while I observed several cars behind me leave, I waited patiently with high expectations. Needless to say based upon my rating that did not happen! After placing my order and getting to the window it took the young lady 4 to 5 additional minutes to actually come to the window to address me. At that point she confirmed my order and as I went to hand her my card for payment, she told me they were out of vanilla custard. I asked was she telling me that I waited 30 minutes and now you can not process my order. She kind of smirked with an I dont care attitude and said they could make it with chocolate custard. The item comes with caramel and chocolate sauce and did not sound appetizing. The girl then asked did I want her to cancel the order with no other suggestions. As you can imagine I was livid! I waited for 30 minutes to leave with nothing but POOR customer service!! I DO NOT try new places often and I may never go to a Freddy's again and certainly NOT...
