I thought Papa John's Pizza was overrated. In fact, I think I even started that before in a review, and I'm not sure if it was even a Papa John's Pizza review, I was just mentioning it as a side note. I forget, but I do know one thing, I was wrong. for the past month at least me and a buddy of mine go there like once almost every week. He's the one who put me into it, cause like I said, it would have never been my choice. Well, anyway, long story short, Papa John's actually makes some pretty decent pizza. In fact, they make some real good pizza. I was wrong, I can admit it. Papa John's makes some good pizza. It is now one of my favorite pizza places. Honestly, flavor wise I like it even more than CiCi's now. There's still a couple of pizza places I like better, one is a local pizza joint. Still though, I was so impressed with Papa John's it's definitely in my top five pizza places at this point. I think if you haven't already, you should definitely get them a try, they won't disappoint you. I can honestly say that. I admit it, I was wrong. They do live up to their hype. And that out course is my to cents on Papa John's,...
Read moreThe pizza was excellent! One of the best I've had in a long time. I placed my order via the app and when it told me it would be ready in a shorter time frame than what I'm used to from other locations I was skeptical. And on a Saturday night at that! But it was ready sooner than anticipated. The only problem I encountered was when we went to pickup and pay the clerk suggested a $5 tip be written in on the receipt. Tips are for those who do more than hand me a pizza and close out the order. Tips became almost mandatory (but still optional) for waitresses who earned less than minimum wage because of greedy people who saw their position becoming too lucrative for a mere server of food and beverages. It has become customary to thank someone monetarily for hospitality. & now millenials believe they are entitled to tips for doing nothing more than what their wages pay for. How about next time you see a public servant in uniform you give them a tip for keeping you safe (although it would not be accepted as that breaches the code of conduct- something this young lady should learn...

For instance, take a look at the picture attached—shouldn't an establishment be ashamed to send out something like this? It feels like false advertisement, and the chicken itself tasted fake, making it a lose-lose situation.
I continue to order pizza from them, but even that is hit or miss. On one occasion, I ordered 5 or 7 extra sauces, tipped well, and my order arrived without any of the sauces. So much for "convenience."
While the pizza can be great, the inconsistency and service issues make it a frustrating...
