This place has a serious management problem. First, the food: the hamburger bun was old and stale; the meat was lukewarm, cool enough the cheese never showed any sign of melting; and the nuggets and fries had their containers crushed or broken and were spilling all over inside the bag. Next, the service: a simple order for two meals took upwards of 10 to 15 minutes despite having no more than a half dozen customers inside and not even a handful of cars at the drive-through.
I witnessed staff members with overlapping responsibilities. For example, the same batch of fries were salted twice by different people. I love salt, but these were the saltiest I've ever had. The cashier left after taking our order and was never replaced. One employee stirred the same batch of fries for at least a good 3 minutes. Another stared at a screen for more than 5 minutes doing nothing else. One was really working hard but was so frantic that everything she did was haphazard and of poor quality. Despite having only a half dozen customers inside, every table was filthy. One table had a soiled rag left on it, seemingly abandoned in mid-job. The trash was all full. Outdated decorations (V-day) were still up everywhere. No condiments were out yet an employee thought they were and should have been. Along with the aforementioned crushed and broken containers, the bag (for dine-in; why not a tray?) had apparently been filled multiple times with sauces (5 BBQs for just 10 nuggets?) and ketchup, as they were located at several levels among the food items.
There was no sign of leadership to be seen anywhere. Nobody stepped up to do any of the needful jobs, offered to lend a hand, called in more help, organized the employees' chaos, or otherwise demonstrate any redeeming trait of management. Some of the longer term symptoms showed the problems to be persistent, not an exception, and all the more so given the relatively short list of customers. There is no acceptable excuse for the condition...
Read moreIts sad that a million dollar company as such has the worst customer service. The refund I received the from last location was because I put my order in and when I pulled up to the second window to get my food after paying. The little curly head Caucasian boy asked me what did I order and I gave him my ticket. The manager on duty came to the window and asked me what did I order. I responded with frustration and said I gave my ticket to the boy at the window. She acted frustrated with me and wanted me to explain my order when Im expecting her to use her brain go get my ticket and my food cause Im at the window waiting. The little curtly head came back and said they gave my food to someone else which was his friends in a Honda that worked there with a tag that said police lives matter. WHEN LETS ME BE ACTUAL AND FACTUAL NO BLACK/ BROWN PERSON HAS HELD A POLICE OFFICE AT GUN POINT FOR NO REASON. THERES A HISTORY BEHIND POLICE VIOLENCE AND CAUCASIAN VIOLENCE AGAINST BLACK/BROWN SKINNED PEOPLE. SO BACK TO MY EXPERIENCE. He asked me to pull to the number two and I did but after seeing 2 cars go thru with their food I knew me and my kids were being treated unfairly. So I pulled back up to the 2nd drive thru window and asked the curly head for my food. He responded and asked what did I order. I told him I gave him my ticket to get my food. But lets be realistic he was taunting me at this point. I started recording. The manager walked passed the window. She came back serving a Caucasian man the counter. She seen me recording and started smiling and took even longer. Everything is on footage. But my last statement is Its soo sad to live in a world with people who hates you over the color...
Read moreThis may be weird but my 5 star rating is for the DEDICATION these employees have especially during this pandemic. I was there early one morning and there was a a flood of cars waiting for thier breakfast food. I was waiting to pay for a while however while I was waiting a employees starts yelling basically venting about how they were short handed because one employee didn't show up on time or at all. I wont mention this employee because they don't deserve to get in trouble. They simply need help. I understand the frustration and especially during these times and how we rely on these fast food for our comfort. I felt so bad.... i wanted to jump through the window and just help out. The 5 star is because they all were clearly stressed out and save the "its thier jobs thoughts" they are still humans with personal issues and feelings and still managed to give great service with smiles on thier faces. Please be kind and patient with our essential workers if you go to these establishments during these hardships. Good job McDonald's...
