Went here for dinner and drinks with some friends and had a very disappointing experience. First, my friends and I order a mango tequila fishbowl to share among 3 people which shouldâve cost $48. When the waiter brought the drink over he brought it in a tower, but it was still a mango tequila drink so we just thought they put it in a different container and drank it. When we got the bill, the waiter had charged us for a $75 margarita tower. I tried to explain nicely to the waiter that that was not what we had ordered and asked if he could change the bill to reflect that. The waiter admitted that it was his mistake and that we didnât order the tower, but said since we had drank the tower we had to pay for it. I did not argue further since it was not worth causing an issue, however I am extremely disappointed and believe that we should not have had to pay $75 for something we didnât ask for. This waiter was also very inattentive the whole night and we only saw him when we first put our orders in, and then not again until we got the bill. Furthermore, we also ordered nachos as an appetizer. The nachos however, were piled up vertically on a tiny plate making them very difficult to eat since the toppings kept spilling over the sides. All the chips on the bottom also did not have any toppings on them and we did not finish the plate since it was too messy to eat. Overall, the food and drinks were fine, however I will not be returning to this establishment based off this experience and would not recommend it to...
Read moreThis is an interesting location, bang in the middle of the departure area, where everyone is scurrying around waiting for a train. This isnât a great atmosphere to sit down to dinner, because everyone can look inside and itâs noisy as a departure lounge should be; if you come for that, youâll be disappointed. This is where you grab a bite and a pint as you wait. One brilliant move: they have a camera pointing towards the announcement board, so you can sit in the pub and see the upcoming departures without having to get out and peek â whoever thought of this deserves a promotion !
They do a very good job given the space constraints. The day I visited there was only one person working the floor, and although she had a lot to do, she did it with a smile. The lady at the bar let me sip one before I ordered a pint. This Cambridge ale was very good if you like amber beers. Their selections of draught beers is very good, and they have a selection of cocktails. Two ladies seated next to me try martinis and they seemed pleased.
SUMMARY: Great service, very good selection of beers and something to nibble on as you wait 20 feet away from the platforms. Extremely...
   Read moreDisappointing Experience.
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the recent service I received at your establishment, specifically on a Friday at approximately 7:10 PM. I believe it is important to bring this matter to your attention in the hope of improving future customer experiences.
According to your website, the bar's closing time is stated as 8:00 PM. With this information in mind, I arrived at the bar at 7:10 PM, assuming I would still be able to enjoy a drink before closing. However, I was met with a closed gate and received unwelcoming looks from your staff upon entering.
What added to my disappointment was the manner in which I was addressed by one of your staff members. Instead of a polite explanation or an apology for the misunderstanding, I was met with a rather rude comment that said, "You walked through the closed gates, bud." The response lacked the courtesy and professionalism I expected from your establishment.
Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could clarify and update the closing time information on your website to avoid any...
