El Rodeo Food Truck — Restaurant in Bozeman

Prompt service, fresh and wholesome chow, but bland. I’ve tried a few different entrees over the years and, although I’ve never been blown away by the quality, I’ve never been overly disappointed either. My biggest issue is the lack of flavor. The flavors are nice, but crazy weak. If you enjoy vivid Mexican food, you’ll definitely want to ask for extra sauce / salsa.

With Chipotle right around the corner, it’s natural to make the comparison. Prices are comparable, but Chipotle triumphs in the flavor department. Chipotle also has the advantage an indoor facility with bathrooms etc. Still, I’ll take a local spot like El Rodeo over a big corporate chain store any day. I've been to El Rodeo several times and had a great experience each time until this most recent visit.

Today, there were 3 young peoole working in the place, and 2 of them weren't wearing masks at all. The other one wasn't wearing her mask properly. We got 4 beef tacos and a fish taco. The beef tacos were all solid, but the fish taco was inedibly salty and honestly tasted a bit off.

I'll definitely be back because every other time I've been has been good. But note to management: please make sure that the employees who worked today wear masks while they're...

Surprisingly good mexican food for this far north! Maybe the best in Bozeman, I think if pricing was included in the ranking, then by far the best in Bozeman from the excellent prices. Perfectly tender chili verde, excellent enchilada sauce, chitlins and tripe for those of you that like beef tongue and menudo. Service with a smile. What else could we ask for.
