with four employees working, including the owner, shelby, who remained in the back office (minus speaking with a possible distributor who had to request her to pick something up), and zero other customers waiting, it still took 32 minutes to get ONE “early riser” smoothie and two of the SAME 2oz clarity shots. one of the employees let the smoothie sit in the blender for a roughly 24 minutes which allowed it to melt and get warm and the other employee was still attempting to make the batched clarity shots — which took an additional 8 minutes (on top of the total wait time of 32 minutes). at one point, a customer came in and none of the employees greeted/welcomed the customer or took her order. they finally took her order, she waited about ten minutes and get her single smoothie before they could complete my order that i had been waiting for… the employees did not seem to care about the quality, their jobs, nor about their customers. they just stood around, barely talked with each other, or paced behind the juice bar. once the wait time had hit 30 minutes, i politely asked if the shots were still being made and had to uncomfortably stand at the counter to attempt to speed up the process. the girl didn’t give a dismissive response and started writing in a binder. the smoothie was nothing exceptional but it did taste decent… it probably would’ve been better had it not melted down.
on a positive note, the decor was well done and it looked like a clean establishment.
i usually do my best at not writing poor reviews but there was absolutely no reason for a non-complicated order to take that long with four employees working. the owner should take more accountability, initiative, and shown pride in her...
Read moreHere's the deal, this place has really really good smoothies, been here many times.
However, only choose to go here if you have 45 minutes to an hour OR MORE to wait for a single order.
Here's the experience that finally led me to write a review:
Arrived at 8 AM. Only 1 woman and her two young daughters ahead of me. Put in an order for two smoothies.
30 minutes later, only the lady, not even her 2 daughters get her order. I have to head into work. I ask the cashier how much more time. She says there are still 2 more orders they are trying to make (the 2 girls) and haven't even started on our order. I hand the cashier my receipt and ask for a refund. They refunded it back to my card.
Look, everyone there is nice. It was nice of them to refund the order. I also love their product. But come on, if it is going to take 30 minutes to an hour to fill an order with virtually no one there, TELL THE CUSTOMER.
So if you have anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours to spare in the morning, yep, good breakfast.
*Update They did refund my order and I was grateful. The employees did recognize me and has actually apologized. That's awesome! This is the first review I've ever updated, I don't do a ton. The honest thing is, sometimes they do take awhile. Sometimes they are quick. I e never seen them not trying though, and that's what I want. Tha...
Read moreThis was such a lovely experience. Healthy options seem to be few and far between in Branson so I was glad I stumbled upon their website. First impression on the website: great aesthetic, well-organized. The service at the restaurant was impeccable. They seem to be really lovely humans, proven by just chatting with them along with how well they took care of my picky toddler's requests.
Take this next part for what you will, as it's a bit of a touchier subject for some - I am not personally religious, I am more universalist. I just bring this up because I adore how well they allow their path to bring a truly positive atmosphere without being in-your-face, for lack of a better phrase. They played what sounded like Christian music in the kitchen area and had a Bible verse quoted on their website; both of which are totally fine with me because they were so welcoming to everyone who came through the door and it was apparent how much love they put into their business. I only intend this to be understood in the most positive way, because other establishments at times in my experience don't carry this out...
