My visit to Mitsu Neko Fusion Cuisine & Sushi in Branson, MO, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome that set the tone for the entire evening. The interior exudes a contemporary charm with a cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for both romantic dinners and gatherings with friends or family.
The menu is a testament to the art of fusion cuisine, offering an exquisite blend of flavors that cater to a variety of palates. Each sushi roll we ordered was a masterpiece of taste and presentation, showcasing the chef's meticulous attention to detail and creativity. The Dragon Roll and the Mitsu Neko Special were particularly memorable, with their perfect balance of flavors and textures.
Not only is the sushi top-notch, but the other menu items are equally impressive. The tempura vegetables were light and crispy, while the miso soup had a comforting richness that was both satisfying and flavorful.
Service at Mitsu Neko is commendable. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our water glasses were never empty and our questions about the menu were answered with knowledge and enthusiasm. Their recommendations were spot on, adding to the overall dining experience.
Mitsu Neko Fusion Cuisine & Sushi stands out not only for its culinary excellence but also for its commitment to providing a welcoming and memorable dining experience. After discovering Mitsu Neko last year we were anxious to return on this trip. Unfortunately I can’t say I’m a fan of the changes. We were impressed last year at the atmosphere they had created, other reviews have mentioned this to, so it makes no sense that they completely lost that by adding a “store” area right as you enter. While a little Asian market is an interesting idea it should be in back and completely separated from the dining area. There was a slightly “off” odor, not so bad that we didn’t stay but needs addressed. My original review complemented the Jazz being played as it gave it a classy vibe, that has been replaced by far less appealing J-Pop. The seating area now in a lower side area seems cramped. The sushi bar is uninviting especially with screens overhead. The service remains good but the sushi rolls were not as terrific as our last visit. Especially disappointing was the Eel Roll with no noticeable eel. The Branson Roll was much better. I hope Mitsu is doing well, these changes seem to be a bit desperate. I would hope the owner would seek wise council and reconsider some of the changes.

Terrific sushi and service. Extra points for playing Jazz instead of the junk most sushi restaurants now deem acceptable. We have dined at the sushi place downtown, it’s comparable however the lack of crowd and noise gives Mitsu Neko a...
Read moreBeware. This place is being run by a dishonest owner/chef. We went to this place tonight based on the high ratings on Google and usually they are accurate. This time it was wrong. Our party ordered all three different ramen noodles on the menu. I ordered spicy ramen and I couldn't believe when they brought in my order, it was spicy Shin instant ramen! I wish I took a picture of it (I was in shock). When my friend asked the waitress why they were serving instant noodles, she politely said she would ask the chef, and a couple of minutes later she came back and said it was frozen noodles. I've been eating Shin spicy instant noodles all my life and I couldn't believe I paid $15 for the something that usually costs a dollar. They even used the same soup ramen packet for the soup base and added cabbage in it. They really ruined my last night here in Branson. The miso ramen that my kids ordered was tasteless and the noodles were overcooked.
If the owner/chef does not know how to make Japenese ramen, just lower the price and honestly tell your customers that you are serving instant ramen noodles. Or just take it off your menu if you don't know how to make Japenese noodles. The sushi rolls were below average, but it was ok for it's price. Overall, it was a very...
