Overall, it was a subpar experience. We stopped in for lunch, and upon entering, we were told we could "sit anywhere we like" by 4 different people within 15 seconds. I guess trying to read the specials by the door looks like we're waiting on something, but it made us feel rushed rather than eagerly welcomed. Our server was kind but seemed new and clueless. After she asked aloud to another staff member if we should be given menus, we looked over our choices and asked about the specials they had that day, which included a chicken philly cheesesteak and biscuit chicken pot pie. We asked the server what ingredients were included, and some listed were inaccurate to what we actually received. For example, the chicken philly did not have mushrooms like our server guessed, and the pot pie did not have spinach. I had also ordered a plain hot latte that was forgotten until I asked about it, but it was promptly brought out thereafter. Food was mediocre at best. Everything tasted like it came from a can, which I wouldn't mind if they were a hospital cafeteria and didn't charge gourmet prices for it. $22 for a sandwich is steep, especially for the quality this one was. Their confusing version of a chicken philly was actually just a regular grilled chicken sandwich on a hoagie roll with tomato, spring mix, and undercooked onions. It did not have the expected caramelized onions and bell peppers that a cheesesteak would have. The pot pie at $16 was basically a can of Progresso soup thickened into a gravy and poured over a thin sliced chicken breast and some stale tough biscuits. A chicken pot pie spin on biscuits and gravy is a fun concept, but the execution here was poor. We wanted to like the food but can not help our disappointment with what we paid for. The food was not at all worth what they billed for it even with the supply shortage due to bird flu. The latte, however, was great and was the best part of our meal. I would like to come back to this place as they have decent coffee and the staff have acceptable attitudes, but I would avoid the food for a while until better quality ingredients and effort are utilized. I have hope that they can do better.

Stopped in for two lattes to go. Took them over 10 minutes to make them (we watched them and they were clearly just learning how to make coffees). Both were made wrong. Tried again. Still missing the flavors we paid for, but we just went with it. Also, it was so smoky in there that we left smelling like burning food after just ten minutes. I could smell it on myself all day. Bloom had this same problem when they were in this location, and the smell is still going strong.

Everything from the decor, food and service was phenomenal! I love that you can chose to sit at a traditional table and be waited on by staff or the quaint window spots that are the perfect view on a rainy morning. The homemade French toast had the perfect amount of egg and was cooked just right. I will definitely be back my entire party. Had a great experience. We need more gems đź’Ž like this in Bristol.

I wanted to love Mycks so badly, because we definitely need a fantastic breakfast place in Bristol again. I went on opening day and ordered the eggs Benedict, sadly the hollandaise sauce was not properly made, it was separating which means either it was rushed or got too hot too fast, and tasted too much like vinegar. The side of potatoes were cold, and dry. I couldn’t even eat them. I will say my mocha was very delicious! I was impressed with the espresso! I figured since it was opening day, they had some learning, tweaks to work out. I gave them another try since they’ve been open about a month now, and I had ordered the tacos, and it was served cold and soggy, my HOT mocha was cold, and by the time I finished my mocha I had just straight syrup at the bottom. I got my daughter scrambled eggs and sausage, but the sausage was so dry and inedible, I had taken a bite and had to spit it out. I let my waitress know about the sausage because it was $4 for two little Pattie’s, and I was still charged for the sausage that we didn’t even eat due to it being dry and overcooked.

I do hope Mycks gets these things situated, and I completely understand they’re a new establishment and they’ve had a few hiccups thus far. But the food needs work. Fresher ingredients...

Was trying to be nice by not saying anything but the owner thinks they can just remove bad reviews so they asked for it. I went in with a friend to eat; since the place is new we looked around to see where you can sit and where the bathrooms are and the menus. There was garbage in the couch window area that no one was bothered to clean any time soon. The waitress was very rude and rushing us to sit but lady, give us a second and then approach us when we take a seat. The place was dead empty.

Once we sat we were given waters and cheap paper menus with nothing special on it, just soups and sandwiches. I thought they served something more substantial. We decided the proces aren't worth the options and went to use the bathroom before leaving. The waitress body blocked us from going to the bathroom until i pointed out that it is weird to physically stop someone from using the bathroom. We got out of there fast. Horrible experience. Snap shot this review while you can, they are threatening to remove it since they can't handle criticism. Train your staff better.

There was one day i went in alone to try the coffee and there were two young women behind the bar; they were pleasant. The coffee was average at best. That was the only "good"...
