We stopped in for lunch as we're passing through town. Being from the South, we like KFC as it is generally consistently good..not this time. Before I write this, let me preface it with saying that I appreciate all food service workers. I understand that most establishments are under staffed which is inexcusable so I try hard to be patient with all situations. A girl named Nevaeh took our order. My husband asked how her day was going to which she replied "there's only 5 of us here" Mind you...at 3:30 in the afternoon, we were 1 of 2 parties there. After we waited awhile with no food, my husband went up to the counter to check on our order. He could see his pot pie sitting on the shelf waiting to be delivered. He told Nevaeh "if you could hand me my pot pie, I'll get that out of your way." She replied "they're really busy back there." What did that have to do with anything since the pot pie was sitting there getting cold? We patiently waited at least 20 minutes on our food. My chicken was supposed to be original but it was crispy. I was so hungry at this point that I ate it. But unfortunately my husband's pot pie was so cold & dry that he couldn't eat it. He took it back up to the counter to ask Nevaeh for a refund. She told him that the manager was on break but she would discuss it with her when she got back from break & let him know something. Meanwhile, a group of Neveah's friends came in so she dropped everything & came out into the dining room to see them. After about 10 minutes, she came & sat with her friends in the booth directly behind me. My husband asked me to check with her on the refund. So I asked her about it. She said, "yeah there's nothing I can really do about that. There's only 5 of us here." I reminded that it is her job to serve my husband food that he can eat & if it's not right, make it right. She rolled her eyes & repeated " so yeah that's not my job." At that point we had enough of Neveah. We went to the counter to speak with Krista who was very apologetic for Neveah's ridiculous behavior. She gave us a refund & was so kind & professional. As we're talking to Krista & as we were leaving, Neveah & her friends were pointing at us, laughing at us & making fun of us. Her behavior was unacceptable. Thankfully we know that this is not the standard for KFC but if we lived in this town, we would never return to this KFC after this interaction with this entitled...
Read moreThis KFC/Taco Bell has quite possibly the most disorganized and rude management I have ever seen. Whoever is in charge of inventory can't even make sure that there is chicken stocked. Yes, you read that right, NO CHICKEN at a KFC/Taco Bell. This has happened three times that I know of in the last two months alone, so you can imagine everything else that is never in stock. That alone is already bad, but the kitchen staff? Even worse. Anytime a customer asks a question to the cashier about the food, the kitchen staff will yell over the cashier, explaining it with a massive condescending tone to the CUSTOMER. Ah, the chefs deal with a lot all day, though, try to ignore them or tell the manager. Okay, but the manager never comes out from the back, and the staff won't go get him for you. The assistant manager? Even worse than the kitchen staff, I have seen him belittle his own staff and CUSTOMERS on more than one occasion. But all that is fine right, the food and time it takes to get to you is what really matters, right? Well, they haven't even figured that out yet. Wait times are told to the customer by staff to be 10-15 minutes, but I have never gotten my order here in less than 45 minutes. Whether there are 20 people or 2 people waiting for their food, it's always at least 30 minutes over the estimated time. The quality? I've never had more inconsistencies with food quality in my life. Some days, it's good, but most days, it's borderline inedible. I've called KFC corporate multiple times about this KFC/Taco Bell, and nothing has changed. Save your money and go lanywhere else to eat. An actual dumpster fire has fewer problems than this...
Read moreThey need to really figure it out! Wow a 35 minute wait for an 8 piece meal! The people in front of us had to wait longer. It seems like they were taking care of the drive-thru before the dining room. They seemed to have plenty of people behind the counter working. The customer service was well below par. No communication to anyone in the dining room or sorry you had to wait so long. You would expect a wait that long you would get fresh chicken. Not the case at all. Did watch the staff wear one set of gloves to do many tasks and not once change there gloves, NOT a good sign. I know it is fast food and all but since it is my money paying for it, I really believe in getting fresh, hot made to order when I want it. Not chicken that has been sitting for quite some time. Through all the years, this batch of KFC chicken sure didn't taste like the Original recipe. For a place which just went through a major overhaul you think you would get better service and much better...
