Excellent coffee for a fair price. Beans are arabica, freshly grounded and brewed every morning. Nice, rich and dark tasting without being bitter. Pastries are excellent, way above average donut shop fares. The baker puts love and pride into his pastries. I can see it on his face whenever he puts out a new fresh tray. Outstanding yeast donuts. People in LA have so many choices for donuts - and this place is a star. Mom and pop shop (as most are), and the yeast sugar/glazed are fluffy and 5 star.

If you like Apple fritters, these are some of the best - moist in the middle, though may be on the sweeter side.

They also have fresh juices in the morning. Only no go may be the "bagel" sandwiches as not so much a bagel as it is...

Loved this place. Its a small unassuming donut shop in a strip mall but the donuts really are fantastic and very good value. When on vacation in beuna park, we went most mornings for breakfast.
