This place was great! I’m an NA beer drinking and my husband prefers tea & vodka. We came to this bar not knowing what to expect. We sat at the bar and we were greeted by both bartenders. I ordered an NA Italian beer and my husband asked them to make him something like a White Russian. The first bartender (we didn’t get his name) said he could make something even better, so he did. My husband really enjoyed it. It took some time for us to finish our 1st drinks because we were watching Aaron making the most beautiful drinks ever. There was so much passion into the drinks he was putting out. So we asked him if he could make us each a drink. I explained to him that I don’t drink alcohol, and he asked me a lot of questions, to see what types of drinks I like and flavors. He also asked if I had any dietary restrictions, which I answered, no. He then asked my husband the same types of questions. and then, he went to work. He was like a drink wizard! He served us two stunning looking drinks and words cannot even describe the way these drinks tasted! I don’t remember what was in my non-alcoholic cocktail, but I do know it had lemon and lime juice, and part of an egg white. It was phenomenal! Another great thing about him was that he told us the history of some of the liquors he was using in my husband’s drinks and the different flavors. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and a fantastic bartender! I work right around the corner, so my husband and I are looking forward to going back to see what Aaron can create for us next! The atmosphere was very nice, the restaurant/bar is very clean and has such a great vibe.

Graylynn is the place you should be at, especially if you are into Gin. I never knew much about gin, other than Hendricks. Ooh boy, I was not aware of how many different types of gin there is. Graylynn, easily has over 100 different types available. Tanner as well as Sarah (both bartenders), educated me on the fact there is more to gin than juniper. The place is spacious and you have the option of eating outside (very spacious patio). Right now it's their soft opening, the menu they have available runs from open to close. They will have a dinner menu available next week sometime. As for their drinks, they are innovative and made of good quality gin. I personally love the honey and fig, I tried the gentleman ruby (beets). But that drink didn't do much for me, and I love beets. I also ordered the pasties (porky cheddar), which is like a meat pie. I love the crust, it was flakey and dense at the same time. It reminds me, of a pot pie crust. The pork though has a strong flavor to me, it almost seemed like it was heavy in the spices (possibly gorgonzola). The charcuterie board was very tasteful, I would've like a side of honey with it. I can't forget they are a market as well, I look at it more like a novelty than market though. You can get drinks (pops, juice, and coffee) here. You also have sandwiches and dry goods such as pasta, sugar, chips and jams. I am looking forward to seeing, Graylynn's future growth.

Cool vibe, similar to Lucky Day but focusing on gin rather than whiskey. There’s a nod to British food with the menu and being a Brit I had to give it a try. Scotch eggs were really good, very juicy. I had the chicken tikka masala which is a very British Indian dish. Again very nice, good portions. My wife had the fish and frites and loved it. Not traditional British because the fish was in 3 separate pieces but the batter was crisp and the fish was tender. Fries were shoestring, again not traditional but delicious. The sticky figgy pudding was the best thing on the menu. We “shared” it and I managed 3 spoonfuls. It was really good. Comes with hot toffee sauce poured over a ball of ice cream. The ice cream sits in a small well that is carved out of the cone shaped sponge. Plenty of sauce, the outside of the sponge is slightly caramelised but inside is soft and moist. Cocktails were great. Place was not over busy but had a nice buzz, staff were friendly and courteous and all in all a fun vibe. We’re booked up to return next week!

Graylynn's charm doesn't stop there; it boasts an equally impressive 4.6 rating on Restaurantji, backed by 156 reviews.

The magic of Graylynn lies not just in its tantalizing tapas and classic American dishes, but also in the stories shared by its patrons. A noteworthy TripAdvisor review highlights the bar's accommodating nature, describing how the staff welcomed a group with children, despite the establishment being 21+. We come here pretty regularly and here are some of my thoughts! The food is top notch. So delicious every time, their brunch menu is amazing - always give our compliments to the chef! The vibe is simply fantastic, it’s next to the tramway and right in the heart of downtown with the view of the old M&T building and other beautiful buildings. The drinks are pretty good also! Keep in mind they don’t have any espresso drinks if you come here for brunch, they only have their drip coffee. Now, the reason I took one star away is the reason we hesitate to go back. The hostess is usually simply amazing, so kind, so happy, very welcoming. But there is one waitress whose name I still don’t know (she’s got mid-length blonde hair in a pony tail). We had her serve our table twice already…and each time it was so stressful. Every time we get her she rushes us even though there is absolutely no one around and we’re not even half done with our plates. She won’t ever show a single smile which is not mandatory of course but with her overall attitude it would help ease the atmosphere. One time she forgot about our dessert that we ordered and she was instead rushing us with the bill…overall it’s very unpleasant to be around that waitress who ruins the experience and if we do go back I wonder if there is a way to avoid her shift overall. So unfortunate because we’ve become the regulars at this place, we love the food and the vibe and we were hoping to continue coming but this server really needs proper soft skill training or this wonderful business will keep losing loyal...
