Dont expect much when it comes to customer service at this location. I am not sure what changed. We have dined here many times, but today something has clearly changed. Josie, who calls herself a hostess was nowhere insight while the line continued to pile up with new guests walking in. She came out of nowhere and apologized for the wait. Im sorry.... you have one job. Then was finally greeted with a rude and annoyed that we were there hello. She asked if we had reservations. No we did not. She stated it would be a half hour wait to be seated in the bar area. She put us on the "list". By this time the two couples behind us walked out and the other was an uber eats driver. We were the only couple left waiting. There was 2 tables being used in the bar at this time. After a bit of time waiting we asked Josie if there was another guest waiting for the bar. She said No and proceeded to snap back at me the wait is due to no bussers working tonight. This wait time could have been half the time if not less if someone wiped a table down because the server already removed the dishes. Rather than taking notice on the same thing my husband and I saw I was accosted with another rude remark by the said hostess. When asked to report this incident to management, Josie briefed the manager that we did not have reservations. Which was the same unreasonable excuse the manager stated it would be 30 min wait. Still no one addressed the fact nobody was waiting and the table literally needed a wash down. Josie at best could benefit in a little customer service training and clearly this is a management issue since the manager made no efforts to ensure satisfaction. Very...
Read moreI have been to ever chillies and this far by the most disgusting chillies it should be closed after such a series of issues. The fact that there was something floating in the mango lemonade is a serious health concern, indicating a lack of proper hygiene and quality control. It’s unacceptable for any restaurant to serve drinks that are anything less than pristine.
The situation only got worse with the watery pasta, which suggests that the food wasn’t properly prepared or that the kitchen staff might be cutting corners. Serving the wrong order is another indication of poor service, showing that the staff is either not paying attention or is undertrained.
The worst part, however, is the raw burger that was bright red and pink inside. This is a major food safety hazard, as undercooked meat can lead to serious health issues. It’s shocking that such a dish would be allowed to leave the kitchen in that state.
Lastly, finding hair particles in the mac and cheese is utterly disgusting and demonstrates a complete lack of hygiene in the kitchen. No one should ever have to worry about finding foreign objects in their food.
Given all these issues, it seems clear that this restaurant has significant problems that need to be addressed. Health and safety standards are critical in the food industry, and when a restaurant fails to meet them so egregiously, it puts customers at risk. Based on your experience, it would not be unreasonable to suggest that Chilli’s should be inspected thoroughly, and if these issues are systemic, it might indeed be necessary to consider shutting it down until it can meet the...
Read moreWe tried Burnsville Chili's again (Cty 42) after over a year of staying away. It is STILL really poor quality food matched with terrible (as usual) service. It used to be fairly good back in the day too, so it's kind of sad. We went to lunch Saturday 1/11/2020. The server (Tony) was just terrible. And it wasn't just our table. We heard complaints all around us. He spent plenty of time standing around chit chatting with coworkers while our table sat with empty drinks and no chips and salsa refill. It took forever for him to take our orders, and forever for our food to come out. Ice cold boneless wings and a lukewarm burger was served. My smothered chicken burrito was actually really good. I tried talking with the manager. She took 50% off of the boneless wings and took the chips off the bill. She had no apologies to give. In fact, all she gave us was a bad attitude. Maybe she hates her job? Maybe she hates customers? Not sure. But I for sure hate Chili's now. When I went to pay on the computer that's at the table (it's too time consuming for servers to accept payment lol), the receipt only came half way out before the machine lit up "OUT OF PAPER CONTACT SERVER". Well Tony never came back, so we left. Sorry about your zero tip Tony, maybe try a little harder. Chili's is now at the bottom of my list of restaurants with some of their gross...
