I never write bad reviews, or reviews in general; but after having a constant stream of poor experiences here I have no choice but to.
Many of the staff have been rude and unaccommodating, not only to myself; but I have been witness to them upsetting other customers in a similar way (just read the reviews).
This morning a simple request to have cream and sugar put into a drink was first ignored, and then met with an unpleasant tone and complaint; at first I was told to do it myself, but then after I calmly explained that 'packets of sugar won't melt in an iced drink, and that the sugar needs to be mixed in with the espresso' I was looked at like I was speaking a foreign language. My drink was remade poorly and without care, with barely any ice, and when I calmly waited to get the baristas attention to add more ice, she restarted the conversation by saying 'what is it this time?' in a very rude tone, before I calmly and respectfully asked for more ice in my drink.
The customer service is terrible.
There are many times when I went and the place was dirty; sticky tables and garbage bags on the patio. This place is the main Starbucks in the City of Burnsville, and it is very disappointing that it is such an unpleasant place to be.
The woman who is currently the general manager is very pleasant, calm, respectful and accommodating, but she really has to be more mindful of the ceaseless stream of poor customer experiences her staff is creating and make a change. There is no excuse for such poor service standards; an unclean work environment, and the lack of respect that a lot of her staff are giving to the paying members of the community.
I have been enjoying coffee here for 1 and a half years, and although I have had many unpleasant experiences, I have never felt prompted to write a review; because the unpleasant experiences were infrequent. But now it seems almost every other time I go I am experiencing longer than normal wait times, unpleasant and off-putting customer service experiences, a dirty environment, and just an overall negative experience.
Finally, I have noticed that every negative review is being responded to with automated messages; and that is such a poor way to handle it; please address the service issues with the store, because its reputation has already tanked and it is quickly becoming a stain on the reputation of the...
Read moreNot sure where to start, to be honest the location is great but the food can be a hit or miss depending on the day and barista. My order is either incorrect most times or is poorly made. Bakery items come cold even though you ask for them to be warmed up. I order online and choose drive through pick up on the App just to get told that I came too soon. I’ve never been told not once but 2x at this location now, that I need to wait 5-7 minutes before coming to pick up, which I do!! Been going here for a year now. This was in the last 2 wks and the same person. Not sure what the difference is from ordering from the drive through window and waiting in the line or ordering online orders from the App. Just doesn’t make sense to be told that when Starbucks is the one that made the App in the first place. Read moreThe line for the drive thru was long and there were only 2 cars in the parking lot. So I decided to go in, thought it would be faster. Boy was I wrong!!! There were 2 people in the coffee shop, both sitting at tables working. Perfect, order and get out in 5 to 7 mins...right? It took 15 mins to get my mocha. They didn't fill my order until the drive thru was empty. Normally I would leave with this rudeness but I was curious to see just how long I would have to wait. Ordering should have been a giveaway to just what kind of service I would receive, I was ignored for almost 5 mins. Even after asking if someone could take my order I was told to wait, and wait, and wait. Once my order was taken, me being the only customer in the shop, it should have taken 2 to 3 mins. Not 15 minutes! I could continue my description of the terrible service but for the sake of others reading this I'll stop.
