Sunshine Falls Smoothie Shack — Restaurant in Cañon City

The first time I went I was excited for a good smoothie shop in town. Unfortunately, the smoothie I got was a thick gummy consistency, way too sweet, and was honestly awful. Since they opened back up, I figured they would have made some changes so I gave them another shot. Unfortunately, if anything it was worse. Not only that, these are $10 smoothies and rather small especially for the price. I went to Mugs today and purchased an AMAZING smoothie for under $5. Go to Mugs, this place is trash.

Thank you for your response. I suggest you look at your security camera footage as you are being lied to by your employee. I was absolutely nothing, but polite and calm. I simply explained to your employee (in the nicest manner possible) that after trying a smoothie, it was just not palatable (for many reasons). I was extremely passive and polite as your video will show. If anyone was rude at all, it was your employee. I didn't mention this in my original review as I gave him the benefit of doubt (maybe he was just having a bad day), but since he obviously lied to you, you should know he was very defensive and considerably rude.

What I find even more concerning is that you, the owner, would lie yourself. How in the world do you find me to be "affiliated" to your "competitor"? I have eaten in most establishments in this town, but have never worked for, promoted, or have been affiliated with any, period. That is a blatant lie and rather sad on your behalf and a terrible representation of your establishment.

Also, continuing with your lies; you claim "every other establishment in town" that has smoothies, uses puree and powder. I don't know why you would drag through the mud other local businesses that should all be supporting each other.

Your prices might be on par with big cities, but you are in Canon City. There is a BIG difference. Overpriced and undervalued products don't fly in small town America.

I wish constructive criticism was actually welcome, otherwise you would not have taken this to a whole new level. Unfortunately, you have exposed yourself. Learn from your mistakes and start by watching your security footage.

I honestly wish you and your shop the best. I love this town and anything that uplifts this paradise is fine by me, but on the other hand, any business bringing down the neighborly feeling of this town should pack up and move to a big city, where you'll...

My husband and I tried smoothies here about a year ago when they first opened. Unfortunately, they just weren't good. It was also strange that oat milk is your only option. Then it appeared that they closed for a while and then re-opened. Hoping that maybe some improvements were made, my husband decided to try it again today. The smoothie was again inedible. He politely gave his feedback and asked for his money back (it's $10 for their one size that looks like a small), the person working there became rude and refused to do so.
