Rubio's Coastal Grill — Restaurant in Carlsbad

If there were an option for zero star I would've picked it. Anyhow, I am very disappointed with the service I got today. My company decided to cater us Rubio's for lunch today. Somehow the person forgot to bring us hot sauce. So I decided to go to the Rubio's in the outlet and spoke to a manager there. I informed him that we just got cater and the person forgot to bring us hot sauce. I said" May I have a few cups to take back to my office. He told me I would have to go to the Rubio's where I got cater from and get the hot sauce there. Why would you make a customer that paid lots of money for catering a large company to drive to another Rubio's to pick up hot sauce. He said otherwise I would have to pay extra money for the hot sauce. Moving forward, I will never step feet in this Rubios again. This is the worst experience I have with them.He must've been new. Plugged in to the superchargers and needed to eat, this was the closest and we're always up for good tacos! Super good for fast Mexican! They've got a Gourmet Taco with crispy cheese that was FANTASTIC! A place in AZ does the crispy cheese and I've never seen it anywhere else, so I stopped reading the menu when I saw it. Have you tried crispy cheese on a taco? I highly suggest it! That being said, I was so focused on my order that I have no idea what the hubs ordered. It was three tacos of some sort and he enjoyed his too. They charge you, give you a number, then bring your food to the table. Horrible disrespectful untrained management, I sat there talking to the manager while multiple customers ordered after me and received their food before me and I was still waiting for mine that I ordered online well in advance. He argued with me that it wasn’t my scheduled pick up time but with no other orders to fill I don’t know for the life of me why they wouldn’t just finish my order. Their online system makes you select times well into the future but when I’m standing there in the store and they’ve got no other customers to help I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just make my order at the time I was there.
