The only good thing I can say about this place is that Most of the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The only exception was the manager. She was very rude from the start. I have a dog and I'm very careful about making sure I know what extra charges will be added for him. Per the CHOICE APP, it was approximately 25 dollars per Stay (I was staying for a week). I am a top tier member of choice privileges so I have learned how some things work. When I brought it to her attention, she immediately argued that their paper display at the front desk was the policy, which was significantly higher. Since I know they have to submit a ticket to have Choice fix it on the app, I also mentioned that to her and that I didn't want to cause issues. Her response was, "and yet you're going to." I replied she could cancel and refuse to check me in but she would have to call choice first. She finally backed down a bit, but I immediately sensed she has some real control issues, which were confirmed during the rest of my stay.
Also, as a responsible pet owner, I inquired that since they advertised as pet friendly, where is the pet walk and waste can area? None. Some grassy area behind hotel but difficult to access due to renovation materials. And zero waste cans. The mgr did mention she would order some but I won't be staying here again. Ever.
The one houseman and a desk clerk were absolutely outstanding and made the stay much...
Read moreFirst, I would like to say this hotel looks to be under new management as it is going through a complete renovation. The parking lot has plenty of parking for large vehicles. The hotel is attached to another hotel, which I can not remember the name I just remember it was an extended stay type hotel. The front counter staff, both checking in and out, were excellent and friendly. No complaints there. The room we were assigned was completely remodeled. New furniture, beds, bedding, fresh paint, door, updated bathrooms, carpet, usb outlets everywhere, the works. They really took some care to update the rooms, and they looked nice and fresh.
The only thing our room was missing was a curtain. When it was time for lights out, the window had a blind but the lamp post from the parking lot shone right through it, making it like an unwanted night light into our room. I'm sure they were still working on curtains as it was the only thing the room was missing, and the hotel is still being renovated.
Breakfast consisted of yogurts, assorted breads for toast, cereal, fresh fruit and coffee, teas, and juice. They did have a small concession stand near the check-in desk to purchase snacks and drinks.
I would stay here again if in the area. They are doing a great job of updating the hotel, and there were quite a few restaurants nearby and gas stations. It was also right off a major highway...
Read moreI am a travel night shift nurse. I asked for a late checkout at 7pm, and I reminded the front desk employee to leave a note which he said he did. Well, I was rudely awaken at 11:30pm with loud banging on my door and employees trying to get into my room. Now you can imagine how frustrating this is considering I just worked a 12 hour night shift and was trying to get some sleep for work that night. I finally got out of bed and my door was cracked open.. I was very scared and upset about this, I do not want someone in my room while I am sleeping. The housekeeper on that floor was a man, and I do not want a random man that I do not know in my room while I am in bed! On top of that, the hotel was in the middle of construction which they came at certain times and I was not informed of this until I was abruptly awaken the first night with loud noises from the construction. Additionally, the heater would not work so I could not block the noise from anything and heard the noisy traffic from the highway right beside the hotel. I ended up leaving and calling off work that day because I could not sleep was extremely frustrated! Oh and the free breakfast was basically nonexistent and everything was stale and old. Worst experience of my life… will...
