I followed my wife and two children into the place. An older white man, possibly the owner, tried to engage in small talk, which I normally appreciate, but he was rude and didn’t seem to read my annoyance with his line of inappropriate questions: “Where are you from?” (to my tri-lingual, university educated, medical professional wife who has a slight accent). To me, “Are you with them? Are they your property? Do you own them? Do you just say ‘ yes ma’am’” I had never been asked such questions then later realized that we had been speaking Arabic to each other and that might have triggered his absurdly racist questioning. Unbuzzed ice cream was fine for the kids but after spending over $20 on two small ice creams, $8.25 each, and a small coffee, he then charged us for bottled water. He said that they don’t offer free water which is a violation of ABC law and just bad business practice in my opinion. When I asked him about why he didn’t offer free water, he grabbed a conveniently placed plastic cup and lied that we hadn’t specified free water. Instead of appreciating the quirky atmosphere and the novelty of a chain alcoholic ice cream place, I simply feel cheated by a greedy, racist, and...

Absolutely never going back. An employee was jokingly cursing in conversation with my friend while she ordered which made her very uncomfortable. My friends were waiting for the rest of our group to arrive and just sitting at a table playing their games they offer and an employee came up very rudely telling them this is for patrons only even after they explained. The wait is awful and I saw many customers go up to tell them they forgot something or their order was incorrect. They ran out of so much stuff by the end and were discouraging people who walked in to order or eventually telling people they weren’t taking orders anymore. They only have 2 ppl manning the entire operation which created so many of their problems like forgetting toppings, wrong orders and the long wait. The place is new so I’d understand some kinks and bumps but the whole atmosphere and staff just ensured I wouldn’t be going back. One friend did really like her order and said it’s almost worth the bad experience so maybe just order delivery once DoorDash gets to it. The decor is excessive and tacky but that doesn’t really have anything to do with...

We were very excited to find this spot. This was on our list of must tries when we came to Charleston. I am only giving two stars because the ice cream was good. The overall experience was HORRIBLE. It was so miserable that my husband and I didn’t even order anything for ourselves. The man behind the counter was very rude. Not helpful, warm or inviting. There was not an explanation of how things work. What should have been a fun experience was simply underwhelming. The boys were yelled at for opening a cooler to look and see what was inside (ice cream pints for sale), another group walked in behind us and they were yelled at for standing to close to the counter where you ordered. We were then given an eye roll and long sigh when my son asked to change something on his order as the man was entering it into the computer. It was not busy it was our family and another group of 2!!! If you are going to have a place where it is an experience as well as good food then be polite. We will not be back nor will we recommend this...

This place feels like it was created by Chat GBT querying random corners of the internet to come up with the “next cool trending ice cream spot”, but it ends up creating an extremely wacky establishment. Not in a “cute quirky” way but in a “private equity firm trying to artificially produce a viral instagram ice cream store” kind of way. This would all be fine if the ice cream was good, but it’s actually pretty sub par. It also commercially makes no sense - this goes against most principles of a business. For example, quality assurance at scale? Not existent here. Speed and order accuracy? Nope. There is a reason why good ice cream is made ahead of time. It’s impractical to make each scoop of ice cream from scratch as this makes the wait time too long. Which would be worth it if this impractical process made superior ice cream, but it’s actually pretty sub par. I personally thought it tasted like an easy bake oven recipe meats ice cream - ie tasted homemade but not in a good way.

It was a blistering hot Sunday summer afternoon in Charleston. We wanted to cool down and saw that this new spot opened up. We were taken back by the set up. A huge list of ice creams, fancy machinery, and eclectic designs throughout. This place is unique as they custom build ice cream using nitrogen(Science). They also have vegan options for our plant friends. They also have the option to put alcohol in every order (buzzed). I had the bourbon pecan with angels envy, tasted amazing. I wish I added some additional mix-ins like nuts/pecans or something with a crunch. Wife got the lemon cake and it was very delicious. Great spot, I’d go back.
