Chopsticks House — Restaurant in Charleston

Anytime here at the Roper Hospital we’ve been nothing but Great support to locals here downtown Charleston, including chopsticks for many years. Unfortunately, we made a decision to stop ordering from this unprofessional establishment. THE DEMANDS FOR A ATIP FROM DRIVER IS VERY HIGH. She’s is very AGGRESSIVE. It got to a point where we ask the guy who delivers from there as well to be the deliverer for now on. WHEN GOING TO REACH FOR YOUR FOOD, she guards the food demanding money. TODAY NOV 2, 25, my co-worker called for a lunch special meal which is $14.00 to be delivered and the order taker lady ask if she can order more food due to the cost was too low for delivery. Their policy states deliveries made after $10 purchases. She ask us to hold them never came back. We call again and she ask us to hold again and never came back. This place has been rude to us for the LAST TIME. Here at Roper and from my understanding MUSC does not want anymore services...

We were looking for good Chinese while visiting Charleston. Found Chopsticks,  but were a little cautious as all the reviews were dated.   Took one for the team... and were really happy.  Typical storefront Chinese,  but flavorful and portions were generous.

Hot and sour soup as good as I've had.  General Tso was spiced just right,  but the fried rice side could have been a little more flavorful.   The lo mein was excellent!  Think the highlight was the ginger scallion chicken - but beware if you're not a ginger fan,  as it has large slices of fresh ginger. I waited to make sure we didn't "rent the food" due to MSG; 24 hours later and no issues!

Biggest issue,  and reason not 5 star... we had it delivered to the hotel where we staying,  but they did not include any utensils,  chopsticks, napkins, plates, sauces or similar items one would expect of a takeout/delivery only restaurant.   Nonetheless,  we would definitely order from them again if we're...

I called around 9:54 and place an order for delivery, gave the female who took my order gave her my debit card number over the phone then said did you want to add a tip for delivery and with an attitude so I said no. So she decided that she was just going to be rude so I told her that you have a nasty attitude when I'm paying you, so she decided she wanted to argue so I hang up on her. They didn't close until 10:30 so I waited on my food that never came so they took my money but never delivered my food went by and they were closed didn't have the professionalism to call me and say we're going to refund your money, they will never ever have to worry about getting my money trust and believe cause without customers you will not have a restaurant.. didn't even want to give a star at all, trust and believe I will be...
