1st & Goal — Restaurant in Charlotte

Update While looking through TikTok I learned that Korean, the manager that served me passed away. I was really moved by her pleasant attitude and friendliness during my visit. I immediately told my 16 year old son of the tragic news. To my surprise, he knew exactly who I was talking about. Yes, she made an impression on him as well. Peace and love Korean, Rest well.

Never heard of the place. However, Security contacted my son about a lost cellphone. I went to retrieve it but he wasn't there. I sat for a bit and observed the crowd. I was on the fence but then again, it was an impromptu visit (around 9:30pm) on a Tuesday. I returned the following day around 5:30pm. I'll so glad I did. I decided to grab a bite as well. Hunty, the fried salmon wrap was DE-LI-CIOUS!! It was well seasoned, the salmon tasted fresh AND it was cooked to perfection. In other words, it wasn't hard or dry. The wrap was wrapping!!👍🏾👍🏾 It didn't fall apart either. The dipping sauce was tasty. The portions were generous and the presentation was pleasing.

The establishment serves alcoholic beverages. I chose wine because it was on special that day.

Korean, the manager was magnificent. She was pleasant and welcoming. She even invited me back that evening for karaoke. It rained so I decided to stay home. I will definitely be back. I suggest you visit as well.

Awwww man is all I have to say!!! We were driving home from Pennsylvania to Tampa, Florida and hit a hotel room a behind this restaurant I looked up restaurants near me and this one popped up, so my husband said let’s go, we walked to the restaurant, we didn’t know it was night club that you have to pay to get into, (we just wanted food and sleep) Ww told the door attendant we only want to order food, she called over a bar maid and took our order, (we order a drink while we waited) we stood at the door waiting for what seemed like hours, BUT my drink kept me happy!!!! That was the strongest Double Ciroq Cran/Pineapple I EVER had, The DJ had me dancing at the door the whole time we were waiting, I even saw one of the Bartenders back there twerking!!!!! His selections of songs were non stop from ever Era of Hip Hop and R&B!! Finally we got our food (1hour later) when we got back to the hotel we opened up our containers and here it is, maaaaaan I was so happy just look at the presentation of the food, we wanted to take a shower get dressed up and go back and party but second guess cause we had to get back in the road back home, If we ever come back to Charlotte,NC you better believe I want to stop in at this spot and DRINK DANCE AND EAT!! I guess 1st and goal is truly living up to their name. The way I witnessed the security guards and waitresses tackle their customers lastnight was classless and unimaginative. Security and servers are to supposed to protect you in an establishment and give out great customer service. That was the last thing I experienced last night. I knew the vibes were off when I seen the bartenders smoking hookah and taking shots and as reading the other reviews I see this matter has been going on from quite some time. Watching this brawl lastnight was disturbing. They have been advertising for security and bartenders so I’m sure the “security” was someone off the streets and who likes to hit women. He needs to be removed immediately. That was my 3rd time going and I will tell my family especially the women not to go there until staff is acting professional and they feel comfortable again.
