On Friday March 24, I went because it had no wait and seemed inexpensive. I decided on a $9.xx item. When I went to order the cashier (who also seemed to be owner or manager) had poor English, and said $19.xx. I asked him to repeat it several times and each time it clearly sounded like $19.xx. (The total was really $9.xx) The man got very rude about it and was kind of snapping at me. I got my food and my friends and I ate. While we were eating a group of 4 came in. A young man and 3 young ladies, all about 19-23 years old. They came in, were respectful and quiet. It is a small shop so I heard them deciding on what to order, and 2 of the ladies went to the restroom to wash up. The 3rd went on and ordered. The guy was texting and waiting on the 2 ladies in restroom. Most tables were taken or dirty but there were 3 tables not in use. Chairs were upside down on them. There was no sign over the tables saying not to use. Nothing appeared broken or dangerous about the tables either. When the girls came out of the restroom, the guy tried to put the chairs down. Cashier manager guy does a very loud screeching whistle. And yells "HEY! You put that chair down right now!" The guy asks "why can't we sit here?". I did not hear a clear answer but I did hear a bunch of broken English muttered with some foreign words maybe, it was so fast I could not understand it. The cashier quickly comes over the the young guy. And yells really loud and angry at him again about the chair, the guy is like "whoa! we are going to buy food, chill". The cashier basically gets in the young guys personal space yelling, and says "you four out! leave now!". The one girl did have her food I think. It was the most bizarre, rudest thing and psycho thing I have ever seen at a restaurant before! These young adults were not doing anything wrong. The cashier seemed like he was ready to fight the guy (who was likely maybe 19 or 20). At this point my group had finished eating and we left in hurry. It was insane, and I will not go back...
Read moreOk this place was completely overrun with people and totally understaffed. There was a concert at the Bank of America stadium just a few blocks down the street and it did not appear that this facility did any preparations for the easily predictable influx of people who were going to be hungry before their event. The lady behind the counter was probably the rudest service worker that I have encountered in a long time. When we asked if we could substitute one simple thing on a sandwich for another simple item we were told “NO” with an eye roll to boot. Once we were able to complete our order which was not complicated it took over 30 for the food to come out. Like I said, this place was packed but it was predictable that it was going to be packed and preparations should have been made. The other thing was the staff was still taking orders but nothing was coming out of the kitchen which was clearly compounding the issue. Once we got our food we found that the turkey sandwich was prepared wrong, and the burger I had made me ill. The only good thing we ate were the French Fries. This place is a hard pass on busy nights. Take your chances on a...
Read morePretty underwhelming first visit, not the worst, not the best, but I would possibly come back and try the wings if I’m in town again and in the mood.
The turkey club and side salad didn’t really hit the spot, so I would not order those again.
I don’t know if this is their usual to use turkey bacon instead of regular, but I wish they would state that they do not use regular bacon. It looks like they made the sandwich with no bacon first, then just tossed this turkey bacon on top in a rush after melting everything together.
Staff was very friendly. The restaurant looked clean from the dining area. The bread on my club was very delicious and makes me want to try a different sandwich next time. I just won’t go for the club again.
The side salad wasn’t good. Very cheap with the toppings & they only use ice berg lettuce and the thinnest slices of toppings and a garnish-amount of cheese. I had requested Italian dressing, but it looks like they gave me ranch. No silverware or napkins were included with the order, so I had to track some down...
